Most importantly waterfowl season! When you have dogs, waders, decoys, and lots of other gear, you have to utilize every inch possible or take an army of vehicles. This securely holds three rifles/shotguns to the back of the front seats of your pickup. You can stick the guns in from either side of the truck. You even retain a bit of adjustment in your seat without hurting anything. The straps that mount it are secure and easily adjustable. Now that mine has made it through a few seasons and I feel I couldn't live without it, I plan on buying all my hunting buddies a set for their trucks. Well more or less I'm sick of my firearms getting bounced around in their vehicles! I would highly highly highly recommend this for anyone that hunts. One note, I have a 2016 GMC Sierra when doing the install I founded the two bungee cords they send with it for the bottom of the seat is to short. The clips attached to the bungie cords immediately snapped off. Save your money. All of the models sold on Amazon are the same company in China making them, just rebranded for each company.
