Took 20 strokes off my game. Or, maybe not.
20 strokes off my game assumes I didn't previously have a putter and was using my 3 iron as one.Ok but getting back to reality, how is it really? Well, the grip certainly has a different feel and stroke to it than I'm used to. It requires a lot more body involvement than I'm used to in a putter, just from the grip. But like anything, you line up on a straight line, and you practice with it in your kitchen until you can perform a reasonably straight motion with it so you don't Happy Gilmore your first putt. I had a hard time swinging a straight line with it at first, but once I changed up how I swung it to suit the monster grip, it actually worked pretty smooth.I may take it to the putt putt course next weekend just to break it in and see how well I can control the speed on those wicked-fast astroturf and concrete greens. I really do like the build of it though. It might not be a new TaylorMade putter, it's 1/4 the cost, give or take. The machining on the face is REALLY nicely done, especially for the price point we're talking here. And, while I admit I do like the tapered shaft design of this, I still yearn for it to come in a carbon version. Only because it would match the rest of my clubs, if not in brand than at least in look.At the end of the day, this is a really nice putter for under a C note. I doubt you could do better unless at a garage sale. The monster grip takes some getting used to, but it actually works well when you adjust yourself to the club a bit. For someone not looking to spend $300 on a putter (perhaps they blew all their golf money on their Bushwood membership) this is a fantastic little short course stick, and in terms of what you get for what you spend here, it's 5 stars all the way.Na na na na na na na na na.

Very nice
I have had 2 or 3 different putters and this one is just as good if not better. It is very true. Love the grip.

OK-feel my current putter has better balance
A few things I noticed right off the bat with the black putter I received, is that it is significantly lighter than my current putter, and only has a single dot versus a line to align your putts. The grip is padded and squared versus the rounded grips I am used to. I wish I could say that it is well balanced, but for my putting stroke, it was just off. I went back and forth on the practice green with my putter and this one and found I just could not obtain the accuracy I am used too. Looks like my old putter keeps its place in my bag.

Thick soft grip, little heavier than I’m used to
I recently purchased the WENGH golf putter because I got a putting green installed in my back yard and I am also starting to learn the game of golf. The only other putter I have is a very old hand-me-down from one of my golf trainers so I thought I’d try something newer that didn’t break the bank while I learned how to play golf. The club is a bit heavier than the one I have currently but feels good in my hands. I believe this is due to the stainless steel construction vs aluminum alloy. The grip is much thicker than a traditional grip and is wrapped with a nice soft polyurethane material. It is the standard length for a putter so it fits me perfectly. There is a nice texture on the club face as well as a white dot on top indicating where the middle of the club is to line up the ball. There his also a ball scoop on the back side of the club for easy ball retrieval without bending down.If you are in the market for a new putter but do not want to spend hundreds, the WENGH putter is a good option. With the stainless steel construction and the comfortable thick grip, it’s a great club to learn golf with.

A high-tier putter at half the price.
Going into the Wengh, I expected a run-of-the-mill, mid-tier putter that would be a decent outlet for beginners wanting to get into the game, but from the moment I took this putter out of the box that this wasn't just your typical beginner putter, and it's performance on the practice green proceeded to absolutely blow me away.I gamed an Odyssey for over five years, and I was impressed by how good the feel of the putter was. The milling on the face not only provided a very satisfying and flush feel of the face, but the roll of every putt was unreal. Even putts that I didn't hit all too well still ended up relatively on-target, which was rather shocking. The grip, while unlabeled and unbranded, feels pretty decent, though it is a little thicker than your average putter grip, so those who desire something less so may want it swapped out.I didn't think I'd be keeping an 80-dollar putter in my bag long-term, but after outperforming a longstanding flagship putter, I probably will, and if Wengh can make a putter this impressive, then I'm psyched to see what other offerings they have in store for the future.

Smooth stroke
I finally got to use this on a full 18 holes today, and my results varied (mostly cuz I’m not great at golf haha).I absolutely love the fat grip on this. It just feels great, and helps me with control. The bottom is a tad weighted, but not to the extreme. It delivers a nice smooth stroke. It has a nice sweet spot.I traditionally have had trouble putting straight, but this putter helps me in that regard due to the grip and weight. I will continue using this putter and I would recommend it for its value and performance.

Pleased
Objectively this showed up and is exactly as I expected, a putter. I use it to practice putting on one of those things in my home. I AM mostly a newbie to golf and I don't take it too seriously. I AM in it more for the fun. So, I can't with any sort of expertise say if it is a great putter or a not so great putter compared to other putters. All I can say is that, again, when I use it to practice it does the job. What would be better than that?

Maybe nice for complete beginner
The only reason that I'm giving this 3 stars is because it is made pretty well, the mill work is nice and clean, the finish looks nice and I love the oversized handle. Beyond that, to me, this putter is really not usable. The weight distribution is way off. It's very light to begin with and there is almost no weight in the head. I had a couple of guys check it out in my league and they agreed. There may be other golfers out there that prefer this type of weight distribution in their putter, but for me it was super hard to get a nice smooth swing with it.
