Since then, I have experimented with about 50 different brands of blades. I landed on the "Feather" blades, and they provided an extremely close shave and rarely cut my face, but I had an extremely rough time getting the blade out of its single tissue paper wrapper. It's glued to the blade, and I cut my fingers numerous times removing the blade from the wrapper. I tried the VIKINGS blade in the green wrapper, and they were very good, but did not shave as close as the "Feather" blades, however they come packaged in a double wrapper, eliminating cutting my finger when removing the blade. I decided to try the VIKINGS blade in the red box. I am now enjoying the best of both worlds - they provide a super close shave (as good or better than "Feather"), and they are easy to remove from the wrappers without slicing my fingers. I can't say enough about how well these VIKINGS -Red Box Razor Blades are working for me.
