Vaultek Lifepod X Micro Review
Very compact, crazy light weight and well made material. 4-8 digit passcode for good security, quick & easy access. The included steel cable is cool to have since I drive for multiple jobs and constantly need to switch cars/places (I will however try to upgrade the strength/replace the cable since it is pretty thin. I definitely have more peace of mind when I need to constantly leave my vehicle for moments at a time especially since theres a spot for an apple airtag as well as a removable tray for sorting different items. Cool feature: If someone has tried to open the lockbox, it will also glow red which is reassuring. Not going to lie, it feels pretty cool locking and unlocking this while being able to store it away virtually anywhere because of its compact size. I was initially going to go with the regular sized LifePod but deemed this a bit more affordable and ultra compact. I will most certainly purchase from Vaultek again in the near future as they offer the larger safes that can stores a firearm(s) :D I have yet to test the durability as far as the elements and forced entry/shock but I would imagine it will ironically holds its own weight. Solid product fr.

Perfect portable lockbox
Love the size and sturdiness of this lil safe. Great for traveling and camping. Can hold phone card and money.

Good Vaultec safe.
Good little safe to travel with and an option instead of the hotel room safe. Has a spot inside for AirTag that did not limit the signal. Dimensions limit what you can put in it but for our use it held passports, cards, cash, keys, etc. and has the cable tie to secure it to a solid surface.

Just enough security to keep a mouse from cheese. Recommended.
Well, if a small portable box with an electronic combo lock is what’s needed, I’m not sure you can do better than this one in this price range. The Good: It does what it claims to do. It is good for small items. It has a ledge that can be used to attach items if ya like to secure items inside from sliding around. This ledge can be removed and you have more room if needed. It’s a well thought out design. The lock is a hard plated keypad that lights up in red much like the keypads on Ford vehicles, so easy to read in complete darkness. But the buttons are a hard press not soft. They seem to be set at a good sensitivity and don’t have a mind of their own. It locks with the press of one button. The latch is large and covers nearly the whole side of the box. There’s a micro USB input for power if the battery dies. This will allow the unit to power on and put your combo in then open it. It’s not terribly heavy. It comes with a securing cable, kind of like a laptop lock. It takes one AA battery, which are common and hold decent power. I put an Energizer Lithium in it. It has a small designated area for an Air Tag. Nice touch. It seems well built. Cons: It’s cheap plastic. Probably easy to smash and open, but would be quite noisy to do so. The design could have us d an upgraded plastic, a bit heavier and would be a noticeable improvement for the feeling of security. The digits for the combination are just four numbers 1-4. Not a deal breaker, but somehow it would be nice to have alpha numeric or digits from 0-9. But we are nitpicking here. The backup power is a micro usb utilization. Anything, to me, that still utilizes micro usb is way out of date or is using it as a compromise. It forces one to wonder what else has been made budget friendly to the manufacturer. Plus, micro usb has always had issues, it was a terrible connection back in the day and is worse now. How many nickels extra would a USB C been? I think the pros outweigh the cons. This isn’t high security but it does the job of keeping simple, small low risk items to stay out of the hands of honest people in your life. Maybe medications around kids? Personal documents? Keys? I think if you’ve read this far, you wanna know if it is a decent product and for the money, it is. I would recommend it. Plus it comes in some cool colours.

Great travel safe.
Great product for quick travel trips…. Strap it to your carry on, and also lock your stuff up in the hotel, with a cable lock to secure it in your room.

Mini safe
This is a small version of their lifepod 2.0, and would be great now for traveling and keep my valuables locked up. Its TSA approved so going through the airport security is no problem. The carabiner attached is great to hang on my backpack or carryon.

Too small for baby 380
Seems decently made. Way too small to even fit a BG2.0 sadly. I made a poor assumption that a baby 380 would fit in this for travel. It doesn’t.
