ORE International 716BK Table Lamp with Crystal-Like Shades, Black 34" x 15" x 15"

After removing and unwrapping the lamp pieces, reading the assembly directions, and following the advice of other reviewers, you must remove the nut and bolt at the bottom of Pole A prior to inserting it into the base. Then, re-secure the bottom pole to the base with the nut and bolt you just removed using the provided wrench via the underside of the base. Next, you must unscrew the small Light Switch nut on the top of Pole A before inserting the wired assembly pole (Part D of Instructions). Line up the holes on Parts A & D and then reattach the screw to the small light switch. You will need a Philips screwdriver for this, which was not included with the packaging. A few of my light strands had come detached during shipping, but the extra washers provided in a small bag easily rectified this. I wanted this for my bedroom, particularly for late-night reading. The 3 "flowers" each have their own bulb, allowing for 1, 2, or all 3 40 watt chandelier bulbs (included) to provide the necessary lighting. Lovely lamp when fully-assembled and it took more time to unwrap the packaging than to actually assemble the lamp.

I had ordered 2 of these lamps. They are truly beautiful, but one came with a dented base and the other came with a broken ring that holds the crown of crystals in place. The crystals are plastic and come kind of tangled because the small metal rings at the end of the crystals are very thin, cheap and flimsy they get intertwined with each other. Once untangled, they are ok. There is no way to contact the company for replacement parts what so ever. Not even Amazon could get contact information on the company. I searched long and hard to find the replacement ring online, but did find one and only one that sold it or similar to it. I chose not to return them, because the box was very heavy and I am recovering from surgery and will be for a while and didn't want to take the chance of sending it back and and getting another set that could have been in much worse shape and I would have to go through the whole process over and over again. They are beautiful heavy and large lamps, but it's a shame they come in these conditions with no way for the company to send missing, broken replacement pieces. Also for those who do order them, when you go to assemble the rod to the base, it is not defective. I also thought that, but you have to unscrew the bolt at the bottom for it to be long enough to fit through the base and then attach the washers and nuts etc... I also forgot to mention that they also come with the light bulbs so you won't have to buy them separate.

The media could not be loaded.  This lamp has a heavy base and 3 pieces to assemble. Base, leg, and top part with lamps - takes about 10 min to put it together. The base has one screw and washers that you need to unscrew first, place it together with the base and then tighten. Then the leg and lamp part - there is also a little screw that you need to remove first in order to fit everything together, align with the screw hole and tighten. Last part is attaching the acrylic crystal holders and light bulb - light bulb is included. Once put together - you have 3 settings - one click - all three lights will be on, another click - 2 lights will be on and one more click will leave one light bulb on. I like it when all three are on, this lamp shines and sparkles really beautifully. It does look really great for the price but if you touch the crystals - they are light weight acrylic and you can tell they are not glass right away. Overall I am happy with my purchase.

ALMOST perfect!! It kills me more when it’s like this...Everything was perfect until I found that one of arms was missing it’s string of crystals. Not the thin small ones, but the one with the big hanging ornaments! If it was somewhere in the box(es), it’s an easy fix to put them back on. But they were nowhere to be found.Other than that, such an amazing lamp for its price. Very pretty.

I'm amazed on how some people want the $1000 look for $50.00.These are just beautiful for the money, they are plastic oh course, again, if you want real crystal, don't be cheap and spend the money.Some complaint that they couldn't screw the base because the screw at the bottom was too short, I did mine just fine. Just extend that screw at the bottom out.They are really tall, not good for a small room.I thought they were well packed, nothing broken or missing.They are really shiny gold and for some, a cheap look, but if you like shiny stuff to brighten your life, these are for you, plus this gold color will provable fade with time. For the money just enjoy them for what ever time they last.

Sheer elegance. Sophistication. Beauty on a budget. Solid. Well built. Lites on three separate settings. One, two, or all three. My living room can go from 3 lites for homework; or one lite @ evenings end when you want to relax. Shud you so desire; two lites. The choice is yours. These lites are romantic and glamourous. It's just what my living room was missing. It would go great in the bedroom, den--who can say? Even your den or dining room. Any where you may need a "touch of class"; go for it babe.

I wrote a review concerning this lamp once before & it was rejected. I guess the light is ok if you like it. It's more base than it is crystal! It would be alright sitting on a desk at a hotel!

Give out great light and beautify my living room.
