My Kids Are Fighting Over Who Gets To Use It!
When this Bentgo lunchbox arrived, my 2 yo claimed this as his, my 1 yo claimed it as his - there were lots of screams and finally they sat down all smiles and pretended to eat a delicious meal from the box together.Since we received this lunchbox, it has fallen/been thrown/dropped and not a scratch to show. It fits a really good amount of food in the interior spaces and the "plate" is pretty easy to pop out for washing or to use as a plate on the table (separate from the box). It has a nice weight to it (I call it the weight of luxury) so it's of sturdy quality that should last for years. (It's definitely not the flimsy lunchbox I had growing up.)I ordered the confetti design for my son and it actually reminds me of looking up at the stars in the night sky. This fun design is also not juvenile so I foresee this lunchbox being used for several years to come. It's easy for my kids to open and close so that gets 2 thumbs up from me.What I also appreciate are the bento box food ideas that the company also showcases on their site - this is so helpful whether you are just starting to make lunches or if you need new ideas to get out of the usual lunch rut. If you're on the fence, buy these - they are great quality, you'll have these for years, and your kids will be delighted!

Looks great, amazing quality, kids friendly and no hassle for parents !
This lunchbox for kids checks all the boxes. We have been using Bentgo for quite some time now and can vouch for it’s durable quality. Also peace of mind knowing the plastic is of good quality. Definitely never going back to any other lunch boxes now. It’s Super easy for kids to open and close, and yet no leaks or mess. The Compartments are just perfectly sized for little kids.We Toss them in the dishwater at the end of the day and they are ready again in the morning to take on another day!Kids just love this glitter version, its so much fun :)

Solid lunchbox
I am loving this Bentgo box for kids lunches! It closes very securely and all parts (tray) stays firmly inside the Bentgo box when open. The glittery grey is very pretty. Bentgo does such a great job of designing solid lunch boxes that are attractive and make kids want to use them. I love that there's a smaller portion for sauces (apple, peanut butter, etc.) for dipping. I highly recommend this lunch box!

Bentgo = quality with quirks
Pros:It does a great job at insulating the food. It's cute. The silicone keeps wet and dry food separate. Easy to open and close for my 5yo. I think the portions are great for a kid. I think it would last a very long time.Cons:The silicone on the exterior makes it difficult to get it in and out of lunch bag or backpack. It also gets stained. I'm not sure if its the silicone or the plastic itself but the inside absorbs food odor.. I soak this thing in hot soapy water after school every day while cooking dinner then scrub before clean up. I noticed this today when I made my daughter tuna patties (one of her favorite foods) and she didn't eat any bc they absorbed banana flavor from a couple days ago! 🤢 The rigid and oddly shaped walls make it hard to pack certain foods like crackers or cookies without breaking them in half. I also wish it came with silverware that could be attached somehow like in thermos containers.Overall: This lunchbox really shines when you consider that I've packed spaghetti Os and crackers and they didn't spill everywhere or make crackers soggy. Yogurt didn't spill into granola, syrup didn't spill into french toast, etc. If you're on the fence, consider what you'll be sending to school. If you have food storage containers, sauce cups, and ice packs, you can get by. But you risk your kids losing stuff and might spend more on baggies, cups etc. If your kid eats mostly sandwiches and baggies of snacks, this is definitely not necessary, as sandwiches have to be really cut down to even fit inside

Defected - won’t latch to stay closed
Complete waste of money (and these are expensive). Came defected with nowhere to latch the front of the container together. I imagine this was not an issue of it being damaged, the clasps were actually missing from it without damage being caused or anything “broken”. Disappointed.
