Seem To Work
OK so we've been giving these Fllea and Tick Prevention Chews to our dog for a couple of weeks now. He loves them. As far as he is concerned they are a new and enjoyable daily treat. So they obviously taste nice. They don't upset his stomach either or cause him any other unwanted side effects. A bit of a relief as he does have a very sensitive stomach. Its also true to say that over the same period he has no had any ticks or any fleas. Is that down to these chews?.... Can't be absolutely certain. But We're not complaing.

Hard to tell how well they work
Our dog Lego does like these, so clearly they are tasty for her. They don't seem to affect her breath but they do sink of garlic, when you open the tub. Each year, Lego scratches around spring and into summer. We used to give her antihistamines. Once she would get bitten by something that could result in a reaction, then steroids and lots of discomfort. So far so good, this hasn't happened. We have given her these treats and it might just be that fleas and ticks don't like garlic, and keep away. So as I say, they might be working. We still give the usual fleas treatment, but that didn't work previously and the skin reaction Lego gets is put down to a bite of some sort. What I must note is that Lego hasn't always had the four recommended pieces per day, sometimes she only has two. Also, when we were away on holiday, a friend looked after her for a week and didn't give her any.So I think they work and I suspect that if you miss any they might still have a lasting effect for some days. At nearly £0.64 per day and a tub lasting a month and a week, you might decide they cost too much. They're just the sort of treatment that you can't quite tell if they work or not. Then again, this is one of the first early summers when Lego hasn't scratched as much and so far she has missed being bitten.

Seemed to work for the dog which took them
I have two Akitas, one took these no problem, the other gave me look which said “ you kidding right ?” (….Akitas are very judgmental. )Ironically, the one who took these, only has had one tick on her. The other judgmental akita has had several, including three or four on his face. They both eat a lot of home made garlic bread, and already take brewers yeast daily, so I’m not sure if that has any bearing in the efficiency of these ?

A delicious training treat if nothing else
Another quality product from a quality brand. I’ve used other supplements from this brand before and my dog loves them. These bite size treats work well. I give him two pieces per day. Easy to follow weight guide on the box. These actually smell quite nice! He loves the peking duck flavour. Non-oily.Can be broken into small pieces and used as a treat when training. For the price point, they are great value for money. 16p per treat.Whether they do what they’re supposed to remains unknown at this point, but a great meaty treat for my dog regardless. No nasty additives.

Our dog loves them and they seem effective
It's early days how effective these chews are but our dog likes them and we restrict her to two a day based on her weight - details of which are on the outside of the tub. As we live in the country, ticks and flea's are a real concern so these tablets are a useful addition to her diet. So far so good therefore they seem effective. Red in colour as per the pictures and she still thinks they are a treat which is good for us. Recommended.

Won't get rid of fleas but seems to help keep them away.
My four dogs all really liked these chews which is impressive in itself. It's really hard to know whether they actually help with flea and tick treatment but I am confident in saying that these will not treat an infestation, but probably help to deter them. My dogs rarely get fleas and I normally use natural products to keep them at bay but I had got a bit lax and have to admit that I found fleas on one of my dogs, which of course meant that they all had them. A few days of these made no difference, if anything there were more of them so I resorted to the traditional flea treatments to get rid of the fleas and have kept using these treats to try and help keep them away. They do seem to help. But be aware that if you use these, your dog might have some red poop so don't panic if you see that!

Pet-friendly solution
Giving these chewables to my dog resulted in a noticeable decrease in pests. The peking duck flavor was clearly a hit, with my furry friend gobbling it up readily. I'm grateful that these are formulated with natural ingredients, providing me peace of mind about my pet's health. A helpful solution to keep pests at bay

be careful about dosage
These treats don't have a super strong scent, they smell like kibble dog food (no garlic smell). The treats are quite solid, I would not consider them 'soft' and they are also quite large. One of our dogs always swallows things instead of chewing so I definitely don't feel safe giving this big hard teat to her and cut it in smaller pieces (small breed, probably more ok for bigger dogs). You are supposed to increase the amount of chews depending on how big your dog is, but I personally would not do that since garlic can be toxic to dogs at higher doses, 2 chews provide 400mg of garlic powder which is leaning towards a high dose, even for humans. Do more research or consult your vet before giving this to your dog. I personally use this only a couple times a week, not daily. The other ingredients, however, are safe and you also get some added vitamins for your furry friends so that's always a plus.
