Bringing Outside to the Inside aka Grounding
I absolutely recommend this mat for any computer dominated lifestyle. I gifted this grounding mat to my beloved Son who absolutely feels the difference. He has a standing desk feature and a very comfortable posture enhancing desk chair. Nothing means more to him than being active and getting outside in nature and to the gym for regular workouts. In that pattern, there was a missing aspect. He loves being bare feet to fully access the grounding qualities of this incredible product. I hope to have a mat for my bed if not a floor mat for grounding, especially with winter on our heels in Northern Caiifornia. Thank you for prompt delivery. Thank you for such a blessing in product form that literally brings the effects of outside grounding inside at my son's work desk. Maintainung optimal wellness programs exceed the culinary and nutritional products, monitoring our external biofeedback is equally imperative. Stay the course of wholehearted wellness! Ase

Convenient way to stay electrically grounded
As it gets colder and drier where I live, I start building up static a lot faster and I get little static shocks whenever I touch metal. I just bought a new pair of USB earbuds, and for some reason I was hearing and sometimes even feeling the static discharge in my ears with them. I bought this little mat because it was the cheapest grounding mat I could find. Not sure about the whole 'health benefits' of grounding, but it does work to *electrically* ground me to prevent static discharge from causing problems.Tested with a multimeter, resistance between several points on the mat to the grounding stud ranged between 1000 and 2000 ohms. There were a couple spots where I couldn't find any continuity but it could just be my crappy meter. The mat is kinda thin and is easy to move around with just my foot when it's under my desk. Comes with a nice long cord that plugs into the ground on any US wall outlet and snaps to a little metal stud on the mat. Also includes an elastic band that you can snap the wire to, which would be handy if you work inside computers or electronics a lot where static discharge could be destructive.

Works as explained and tested
Upon usage I've noticed that whenever I ground to the pad I can feel the negative electrons flowing I did my test with a multi reader and it works as explained I feel real relaxed whenever I use it and I believe it's doing the job of grounding and I can feel the effects I'm a truck driver and I really appreciate thisDreams seems more vivid when I lay on it plus I feel real relaxedWhile laying on it

Does it work?
Didn't seem to make a difference...I don't know if it has to be used consistently for several weeks before it is noticeable.

That it works.
The writeup said some don't notice any changes for a couple weeks but the first night I used it and without question I felt a difference in me. Being ill for so long and trying everything I came across I tried this. Because most stuff I purchase never works I opted for this inexpensive grounding mat and seeing that it is a real thing I will be purchasing more for gifts .

Ohms are wayyy too high, rendering it completely useless !
I wish I had made the following observations and test measurement immediately after I received this product. But alas I've owned it for months and can no longer return it for a refund. We have pet cats in our house, who take naps on our bed. So we keep the bed neatly made with its bedcover on it whenever we're not in bed. Thus, between twice per week vaccuum cleanings, the top surface of the bedcover gets deposited with some cat hairs, which cling to the bedcover due to the attractive electrical charges between them. If not for the inttegral rotary brush feature of our vacuum cleaner this cleanup would be an arduously inefficient task. Until today, this grounding mat was kept on the bedsheet, shielded from the cat hairs by the bedcover. So today I had a "eureka moment", and tried using the grounding mat as a large anti-static wipe, in the interest of further increasing the efficiency of its to vacuum cleaning. Much to my dismay, the wipe down with this mat failed to discharge the cat hairs ! They kept clinging to the bedcover. Next, I found an inoccuous aggregation of cat hairs that I lifted simply via the attractive charge on the surface of my fingertip. So I touched the grounding mat with the knuckle of that finger and the result was failure to discharge enough of my body to release the clinging cat hair still clinging to my fingertip !!!I reasoned that the explanation for these observations must either be that our 22 year old home is not properly grounded ( extremely unlikely ), or this grounding mat is ineffective. So next using a digital electronic multimeter I measured the resistance across the mat's working surface and its outlet plug. It measure about 11,500 oms at the corner closes to its electrode and about 16,300 ohms at the diagonal corner. Obviously this is far too little conductivity. If this mat cannot ground out the charge on a bit of cat hair, nor on the surface of my finger, then how is it supposed to remedy the free radicals throughout my bodily tissues ???
