This set is brilliant, especially for getting freeview channels over in france

What an absolute waste of time. Just couldn't get it working from our home let alone out touring. Our local tv installer came to help out and said that the dish was far to small and wasn't worth anything. Had to get a bigger dish and now picking up all the channels I need.

After somewhat of a learning curve I finally got the dish aligned and was pleasantly surprised at the result. My only criticism is the tilt mechanism is very difficult to tighten sufficiently to prevent movement, otherwise a good kit and good value for money!

I have one of these kits and you should know two things, it works and the receiver box is pretty cool in that it is so small and you can insert a usb drive and record programmes.The down side is, the mount is totally useless, if the ball clamp unit worked it might not be bad, the suction mount is ok but it is impossible to tighten the clamp screw, the shaft still moves freely that is held in the suction mount, I fail to understand how they release this to market when it clearly doesnt work, if you cant secure the dish there is no hope of keeping a signal.I am buying a cheap tripod and adapting mine to fit on it to secure the dish.

Blew off of the roof in relatively low winds the first time we used it. however the company were very quick to reinburse us.

A bit fiddly but good once you get used to setting up.
