Definitely a high quality yoga mat and I like the fact it doesn’t contain any toxic materials which is always a bonus! It definitely looks like a more premium mat compared to others I’ve seen and owned over the years and I guess the price tag is a byproduct of using better quality and eco friendly materials. The mat itself is a pretty standard thickness and I can confirm its definitely non-slip as stated in the description. I use mine more for general stretching and some exercises where I need a non-slip surface which it’s perfect for… My partner however does yoga from home a few times per week with some follow along online subscription, she’s also used this mat a few times now and prefers it over her personal mat, granted it was half the price but still, it’s good to know that there is a discernible difference between this and cheaper mats.The included carry handle is very basic but does what it’s intended to do, this doesn’t make much of a difference to me as I use it at home anyway and don’t carry anywhere. I noticed the mat is very grippy which is good, even when my hands got sweaty it held its own so a big thumbs up for that. I feel like perhaps this is slightly overpriced and should be in the lower end of the 30’s to make it more competitive, however it is a nice mat with an attractive design so if you’re looking for something nicer looking that stands out a bit more then I would recommend paying a little extra for it as you would anything branded.

I was really looking forward to receiving my new yoga mat, expecting it to be a bit nicer than average since costing more than most mats, and because of the positive reviews.Sadly, I was disappointed to find the mat made of cheap-feeling, light foam similar to old-style camping mattresses. It doesn’t sit nicely on the floor but curls in the ends. Also it isn’t non-slip! This is a problem, since my hands are sliding when doing downward dog and other yoga poses. I honestly cannot see what costs so much making this mat. It has nice colours and branding, yes, but apart from that, it’s not a good value for moneys and it seems expensive for what you get. I’m also a little doubtful of the eco credentials, since like seems just like any cheap yoga mats around. I’m thinking of returning it and replacing with something a bit more substantial.

I’ve used a lot of yoga mats over the years and use them 5-6 days a week, I have to say this one is far too expensive compared to others. I do understand that it is made with TPE which is recyclable, this is excellent and must be an expensive process to produce. This is a benefit of course. It is very lightweight so incredibly practical for transporting to classes (the carry straps were missing from mine). I do also like that it can be used on either side. However, because it is so lightweight, when it is unrolled the edges just do not go down. They are permanently curved up which does make it unpleasant to use, these edges just get in the way. I much prefer a rubber mat which does not have this issue. Also, I use my mat in my living room (I do not go out to gym studios) which is carpeted, so the nonslip element doesn’t work for me, there is a fair amount of movement between the mat and the carpet. Overall, I am a bit disappointed. For the price tag, it just doesn’t meet my personal criteria. But I give it 3 stars for its recyclable efforts.

The media could not be loaded.  I’ve ordered this lovely yoga mat for myself.My own was a cheap foam mat that was flaking and dropping bits everywhere, so I was excited to receive this one.It’s lovely and thick compared to my other one, and has a nice grippy underside that feels very anchored in place when it’s down. It’s also a great size.The top side has texture so that my hands and feet don’t slide. You can use whichever side you prefer though as it’s double sided.The sustainable materials used are high quality and eco friendly, they are safe for us, pets and the planet which is perfect.It’s sweat proof and just needs a quick wipe when you want to clean it, so it’s very easy to look after, and it comes with a carry strap which holds it in it’s rolled up position making it easy to store.It was all the above and the great design and choice of fantastic colours that drew me to it. I eventually went with the orange and teal which looks amazing but there are several colour options that I dithered over!All in all this is a well made yoga mat with excellent cushioning and a great grip.In my opinion it’s worth every penny, and I would recommend it.I hope you find my review helpful.
