Will reward you, with time
I received the RP-640D, and a pair of RP-240Ds, to use as a center channel and left/right speakers in Nov. 2018. I needed a very "flat" center channel to go behind a spandex (acoustically transparent) projection screen, and so I just paired the 240s with it for consistency. To be honest, this setup was kind of a "downgrade" of my home theater, since I had recently moved. There just wasn't room in the new place for my long-serving JBL center channel, a 3-way behemoth: so I had hoped that this Klipsch and its smaller sisters would be an adequate substitute. For six months, I had enjoyed this set with a lot of unspoken reluctance. The richness just wasn't there, and there was no sense of depth to them. Flash forward to last week, when I feel like they finally "broke in." I only use my speakers for maybe 3-5 hours per week of sustained use, so maybe that is why the break-in period was so prolonged...But WOW. Starting now, they are a totally different experience: rich resonance, precise treble with capable mid-range and lows. I feel like I'm in an OMNI theater with these! (Spacing them far apart from each other certainly helps with this effect.) Paired with a subwoofer to round-out the missing bass can definitely help with certain content. But in my tiny new home theater space (12' x 14'), this fills the room just fine on its own as a very satisfying center channel, and its placement DIRECTLY behind the screen;s lower-third makes for a compelling illusion of immersiveness! This speaker is the real deal, Klipsch power in a small, thin package! I wouldn't put it up against other higher-end offerings, but for the price and in the small space it takes up, I find it incredibly rewarding.

Amazing sound and compact for easy wall mounting
Space for most families like mine is always at a premium. 8 years ago I purchased an entry level set of Onkyo speakers the Onkyo SKS-HT870 Home Theater Speaker System, although these still continue to perform flawlessly, I needed something that took up considerably less space in my living room.So took my TV off the large stand, mounted it to the wall and sought out speakers that would not only give superior sound, but offer a much smaller footprint for my cramped living room. This fit the bill perfectly. On most home theater forums, Klipsch is a well respected brand, so once I discovered these, it was pretty much a no-brainer.Installed only a few weeks ago, they are still in the process of breaking in, the sound will become richer as time progresses. This particular speaker I chose as my center speaker, so even if the audio playing is mono, the number of speakers playing sound is greatly increased from my old center channel speaker. For my left and right speakers I used: Klipsch RP-240D Black Surround Home Speaker Matte Black. After running a few quick comparisons between my old and new speakers, I found the overall sound quality to be far superior, despite the speakers not yet fully being "broken in".So if space is an issue and your looking for great and quality sound for your home theater, look no further....

Great customer service
Initial shipment lacked the grille cover for the speaker. I went through Amazon's instruction to work directly with Klipsch and they quickly resolved this as a covered warranty item and shipped a replacement with the complete parts as well as a return shipping label. Happy with the end product and final installation but look out for it going on sale as the price varies over time here on Amazon.

They’re Ok
Im a sound snob. Really hard to find a quality sound bar. Using these around my flat LEDTV. Without the giant boxes, modern speakers miss the mark on acoustics. Intelligibility with these speakers is disappointing. With an array of subs, they work for music. Pricy for what they are.

Definitely not brand new.
The box came all mangled up. I wrote to the seller and got nothing back. I asked for an extra speaker cover cause the one was damaged from delivery and so that screws were missing. I finally get to set the speakers up and it turns out one of the speakers sounds like its blown! I'm very unhappy with this expensive purchase.
