The laser is bright, the casing is a good size with an easily accessible button so your hand doesn't get all cramped and pinched up. I even like the matte black finish.More importantly, my cat loves it.My only complaint is that the internal components are wobbly; you can feel them move and rattle as you move the unit. It's no big deal while using it, but I do have concerns that if it falls off a table or something, it'll break completely.

Cheaply made but works

I just got these in the mail today and only one of them worked at first. So I again tried to get the second one to work (and after moving the inside spring a bit) it finally worked. But once you unscrew the two sections, it is very difficult to get them screwed back together again (after inserting the batteries). And the third one just simply didn't work. Also, you have to hold the button down the entire time you are using it. This product is very cheaply made and I would definitely choose a different brand. I should have read the reviews first before purchasing it; I would not recommend this product to anyone.

I was a little worried from the reviews that only 2/3 would work but all of them are functional! The red is less brighter than the green but I would prefer the red for presentations.The picture I attached shows that the negative side of the batteries face the light side and the positive side goes up towards the clip.

Ordered the set of 3, two red and a green. I'm surprised by what I received because the reviews were relatively good. Quick list to sum everything up:Pros- 2/3 worked, nice sleek look for the product casing, good visibility for the "point" on several background surfaces/colorsCons- 1/3 did not work and appears to be missing parts (more details later), for the red there was a strange partial halo or arc effect around the dot, for the green it was just too bright and almost gave me a headacheFor the one that did not work, one of the reds, I could tell that there was an internal button that did not align with the external silver button. Comparing with another one that did work, there appeared to be some sort of plate missing, and the non-functional pointer was lighter. Since I planned to use these for a presentation, I've opted to return the products and possibly purchase another set later. As mentioned previously, the green was not going to be suitable for an audience due to the sheer brightness of the light. I pointed it at the ceiling while testing it, which is not reflective at all, and it was still too bright to look at. The working red laser was almost perfect except for that weird partial arc around the dot. That would be too distracting for a presentation, though my dogs seemed to enjoy it. I would recommend that if you're getting these for pets, don't use the green one at all (if it hurt my eyes it'll probably hurt theirs) and just be really careful to not shine it in or across their eyes.There's a chance that I just got a bad set, or that this was just missed on quality control, and since they did technically work I'll only take off two stars. I like the look of the outside, they could likely pass as large pens, but the lasers themselves just aren't suitable for what I need them to do. Probably would just get a single red next time.

There are two red lasers and one green laser. All three are well made and very bright. My dog loves playing with them. A good exercising tool for him.

I have bought multiple sets of these for my dogs, we live in a manufactured home park, so areas to run and burn off energy for larger dogs is limited. With these I can put them on their timeouts and just run them back and forth till the drop from exhaustion. When ordering if you're looking at multiple kinds I wouldn't get the "purple" kind as those are very dim. But this set with only red and green is great.

My son wanted a laser pointer to play with his dog. Three comes in the package so I thought that would be good enough. It was not. All three have broke. They come apart like a pen and then when you put them back together it barely works.
