This is a great back massager! It offers heat and you can even stop it in one area that you want worked on longer. It provides back pain relief in the neck, middle and lower back.

I have a herniated disc in my lower lumbar and scoliosis. I have been really unbothered by both issues until moving recently and now I have constant soreness. I have tried PT and stretching and I still was looking for more relief so I tried the back massager and I am really happy I did. It goes from my upper shoulders all the way to my lower back. It has heat which I use and it has a timer. It plugs into the wall and is pretty straightforward on how to use it. I like that you can select a certain area to massage and it has a “spot” feature and you can move an arrow up and down to determine the exact spot you want to massage. It also has vibration which is not exactly for me but some people might like this feature. I researched this for quite awhile and I would highly recommend this heat massage chair pad!

I looked at a number of different massaging mats/cushions. Upon receiving it, at first blush I was very pleased with the quality of construction. I didn't know what to expect for sure, but this is a well-put-together piece of equipment. To be clear, while I think this would work amazingly well in a car (and it does come with a car adapter), that is not why I purchased it. I bought this to use on my couch at home, as I suffer from back and leg pain and a good massaging mat is something I've been wanting for a while. This isn't a flimsy mat. It has a pronounced, sturdy, lumbar support for the lower back. The mat is memory foam, and it supports very well. The massage it delivers is very good. It has five different modes (pulsate, tapping, rolling, auto, and kneading). I prefer the rolling feature where it works its way from the top of the cushion, and then it activates progressively downward to the thighs. Then it starts the cycle over again at the top. It is incredibly relaxing. the product also comes with instructions for activating the 2 year warranty. I sent an email and had a response inn less than an hour, which was a pleasant surprise. The only information they required was my order ID# from Amazon. Another reason I like the product is because over time some couches (mine at least) tend to sink in a little bit as time goes on and you repeatedly sit on it. This mat compensates for that and I just feel more supported and comfortable on my couch now. I considered another model of the same brand that includes shiatsu massage. the reason I chose not to go with that particular model is because I intend to leave this cushion on my couch at all times when I'm sitting on it. I think the shiatsu cushion would feel amazing, but the balls embedded in the cushion would be obtrusive and uncomfortable when I just want to sit without using the massage feature. For that reason, I like this model that uses vibrating massage and feels comfortable at all times when I'm sitting - whether I've got it turned on or not. That's a decision each person will need to make for themselves when considering the type of cushion to purchase. It all depends on your intended use. That said, I've been extremely impressed so far with the quality of the product and their responsive customer service when activating my warranty. Not only are they timely, but they are friendly as well. It doesn't feel like a detached, auto-generated email that we all have received at one time or another. This is a great value and I can easily recommend it with 5 stars. I would not change my decision to purchase it one bit. I expect others who make this purchase will be glad they did as well. It exceeds my expectations.

I’ve been using my Snailax Back Massager pretty much daily for a couple of months now and I couldn’t be happier. It gives a good, solid, massage with or without heat, top to bottom or upper/lower back option. I particularly like the spot massage option for areas that need a little extra. It’s smooth, relaxing, very quiet, and simple to setup and put away. I don’t often write reviews for products I buy on Amazon but I 100% recommend the Snailax Back Massager for its outstanding performance and value.

My husband and I absolutely love this massager! It was totally worth getting the larger one since he is 6ft tall. I can also adjust it for my height (5’4”). The heat also helps when my lower back pain starts flaring up.

This is a 2 week review. Using this chair/pad thing is not easy. Sure, you can sit on it in a chair, but the pressure will vary depending on how you sit, or the angle of the chair. To get a consistent pressure I have to lean forward and back as it moves up and down my spine. This does not help relax me, as i am constantly moving. What I discovered is that for me the Steeper the angle i use it on, the better it works. I managed to set it up so I am leaning forward and it presses onto my back from the weight of a heavy blanket and a pillow compressed between it and the chair. This position lets me relax the most, and i dont have to move as much to get good pressure. Things I dont like: The vibration on the seat is almost useless. The only time i enjoy it is when I use the seat alone as a pillow and vibrate just my head and neck. The heat function is also not useful for me. The pressure flap that it comes with makes the heat unnoticeable. Without the pad the pressure is painful. Things I like: The massage can feel amazing if you get it situated right! If you lay the pad flat and lay on it scooted down lower you can get a great massage of the upper shoulder, neck, and head. (cover it with a towel to transfer pressure to the back of the neck arch) Things i noticed: If i only use it 15-30 min a day then my muscles wont get "massage sore" and i can take the hard pressure better. When i used it for an hour the first 2 days i had it, the third and fourth days were very painful and hard to get comfortable. The chair works best when targeting the upper and lower back separately. When i use the FULL option I have to lean and move 5-10x more often. if you get sweaty when using it, the pressure flap wipes clean very easily. I find that longer duration with lower pressure (an extra towel as padding) works the best for me. I get crazy dehydrated after using this massage chair, so drink lots of water before and after! If i want a butt/low low back massage I just sit on a towel and it does decent. So far i haven't found a great position for massaging the sciatica. TLDR: The product is good but takes getting used to, the vibration only chair might be better for me.

I bought this massager almost a year ago and I love it. It gets the job done and feels great; I have a lot of back issues and pain, and this helps to keep that pain from getting worse and worse like it usually does when I use it often. The first one did break; one of the massage balls tore through the fabric, but that’s probably because of user error. However, I contacted customer support on their website and they sent a replacement out to me right away. It was seamless and I’m thankful for their timing as I didn’t want to go too long without massaging my back. I think I got the replacement within 3 business days. The first one lasted me almost a year, and if it hadn’t of been for the ball tearing through the fabric part (there is a padded covering that ensured my safety so I wasn’t harmed!) I’m sure it would have lasted for a good while longer too; it’s really good quality for this price point. The noise level is amazing; practically no noise unless you’re using the vibration setting, and even then it’s minimal. Highly recommend to anyone who needs a decent massager and doesn’t want to break the bank. You can control where there massage balls go (higher or lower), and you can keep them in a certain spot as well. There is also a really nice heat option that just adds a bit more relaxation; using that during the cold months was great and kept me toasty!

Lets face it, we've all sat on one of these at the mall and weren't impressed. We'll now Im 40 and my back hurts.... I bought this one because the reviews were promising but you never know these days. So the unit came in a nice box, odd thing to care about but I did. Well packaged, easy to carry and unpack. The unit itself it great quality, the seat and back feel sturdy and the remote is easy to read and use. Fully blasting this thing massages, vibrates and heats, I'm not a small guy and it holds my weight and still does the job. Between me and the wife this thing has been in full rotation for about a month and hasn't slowed down!
