Tru-SpecWomen's 24-7 Lightweight Pants

I bought these in navy several years ago and absolutely love them. I am 5'6" and wear either a 6 or an 8 blue jean depending on brand. These fit comfortably low, a little below the belly button, but not so low that I need a belt or pull them up all the time. I am a runner with lean legs and butt with a trunk waist (almost no curve in the hip). There is an elastic band on each side that promotes comfortable stretch with movement. Five stars for first pair that I still use.I'm giving three stars to my second order of truspec size 6 khaki this time because the pants are so short, my ankles are showing in bare feet. The tags had all been ripped off leaving white thread behind. My first pair had to be taken up at the heels because so they would be destroyed with use. There isn't enough fabric on this new pair to let it out. Re-ordered and hoping for a longer pair.Edit: received a new pair that are perfect! Love these! Great customer service on the return and new pair!

I love these pants! Very flattering and stylish. I ordered navy and iwaistband. I ordered 32 inseam and it is 32. I noticed our local female police personnel wear Tru-Spec (in khaki). One deputy said she lives in hers even when off-duty because they are so comfortable. I did order TWO SIZES UP because of experience with womens sizing for Dickies cargo pants (run small), and other reviews on this site. Perfect fit! Don't be an ego-head and then give the seller bad reviews because you only ordered ONE size up. READ THE REVIEWS. If you are a 100 lbs. darling, then from the reviews state to order your regular size. But it appears if you are over a size 6, order TWO sizes up. No one really cares if you are a 2 or 24 gal, except you. Comfort is much more important than what is on your waistband.Material is lightweight. Pant construction (sewing) is supreme. Nice, feminine, wonderful and COMFY pants!

Got the pants for work. Had purchased 5.11 women's pants but they are pricey! These were a bit too big, but I kept them anyway. I did purchase the size 10s and those fit better. I typically wear size 8-9 in non work pants. These are best one size up. I like the hidden stretch waistband. Good number of pockets and the front ones are especially deep. Side cargo pockets are very large. Enough to stick a 16 oz. water bottle and phone. Good pants for a good price. The drawbacks: The material is not as soft as the 5.11's. It's a little rougher and did not soften up after washing them a (despite the labels stating the exact same percentage of cotton/poly blend). The back part does gap a little upon squatting, but wearing a belt helps. I am not an hourglass body style, more of a straight up and down so perhaps this is why the back gaps. Also- the pocket liner is tan/off white, stiff material, and shows/billows a bit upon sitting down. I wish the entire inner liner to the side pockets was black in color, and softer-then they would look better when sitting down. Otherwise, they are a solid purchase. I'm still looking for a solid 5-star law enforcement work pant. If these manufacturers can blend 2% lycra along with cotton/poly, and style them between the 5.11's and Tru-Spec, I bet women in LE would flock to purchase them. I dare them to do so and I can be the first to review!!

I am an animal control officer so I am constantly in need of new tactical pants, with dogs consistently jumping on me, muddy paws, dog fur, you get the drill. My employer buys me 2 pairs of 5.11 pants a year, but I decided to buy some pants of my own to have a back up on those extremely messy days. These pants are a solid work pant but do have noteable drawbacksThe Pros-these pants have a sufficient amount of pockets of various sizes. I dont think any more would be necessary- these pants fit true to size. I am 5'4 and 165 pounds so I bought a size 12. They fit well. They also include a strech band around the waist to hug your hips when you bend/stand. Although this isnt necessary with a duty belt, I do appreciate this feature overall-the pants are incredibly light weight and would be the perfect weight in the summer if your employer makes you wear pants all year roundThe Cons- I typically buy tactical pants pants in the 60% polyester and 40% cotton range. These pants definitely seem to lean more on the polyester side. That makes them noisey. As you walk there is loud 'swoosh-swoosh' sound, almost like wearing snow pants.- because of the blend, lint/ dust sticks to the pants much more than other pants I have owned. I am not sure if this will last after multiple washes, but so far I have definitely had to keep a lint roller on hand to stay presentable. That is less true with my higher-end pants- the waist of the pant is not rubberized. This is a huge drawback for me, as I have to consistently check that my shirt is tucked in on the back.Overall, I would say that these are a solid work pant if they are offered at the right price. I would never pay more for these than the bigger brand names, like 5.11, due to some of the features they lack.

I usually wear an 18 in pants but ordered both a 20 and a 22 based off others' reviews. I could not button either of these huge sizes. If you have any kind of belly or curves or any meat on your hipsbone, these won't work. I have a 46" waist which doesn't matter because these have such an incredibly low rise, they came nowhere near my waist. The waistband is a good 4" below my natural waist. It felt like I was trying to fit into junior sized pants. Anyway, my hips measure 51"--my actual hips, at the top of the hipsbone, which is where the waistband on these sits. There's no way even their largest size would fit. Although they fit great in the butt and thighs, and the long length was nice. I liked the adjustable waistband, although it will never adjust well enough for me.It really ticks me off that their sizing is nowhere near standard sizing. I've never worn a size 22 in my life. Even a lot of 18s are big on me. Guess you have to have a perfect figure if you want to wear these.

Nice pants but a little large

I got this one today and want to wear as I cant find any cargo work pants here in Calgary in any store. It is low rise and size is not 12 as I needed it is compare to size 10. Thighs are tights, i think i should read the reviews before I ordered but anyway, i am returning. All their sizes are 2-4 smaller then Canada size and material is not stretchy enough, same I order one Dickies and same size issue even I measure with tape. If anyone order, make sure order 1 or 2 size larger.

Totally fits way smaller than advertised. The quality is great. I needed to send them back. I usually wear a 16-18 and these did not fit I think in the highest size.
