Perfect for Pups and Oldies Alike
We've been using Vetbed in our family for as long as I can remember, there simply isn't anything better. Especially for newborn pups. They can get a purchase on the fleece and pull themselves around, it stands up to a ridiculous amount of washing. Some of our pieces have bene in the family for over 20 years. The older dogs like it too, it's the perfect liner for beds. Good value too, given how long it lasts.

Every dog owner should buy this!
This is the best ever invention for dogs, most obviously as a mattress upon which to sleep but doubles as a blanket to lie on in the evenings, out of the bed / basket. Soft, warm and snuggly, your dog will likely head for his or her vet bed after a muddy, rainy walk but this is no problem as this clever, very long-lasting 'bed' absorbs dampness efficiently, pulling it through the soft grey upper to the green base layer so your dog is not irrotated by lying upon a damp mattress. The vet bed is very fluffy upon arrival but after one wash you will see its true texture - more 'straggly' though still as warm and snug. It will remain this texture and quality through subsequent washes. We wash ours every week and find 30 mins on the radiator dries it thoroughly. One of our vet beds has been with us the full year we have had our pup and is still in great condition despite having had wee, poo and sick on it during those early months. To summarise, this bed keeps your dog warm and dry through wet fur or 'accidents', it can be cut to size (so consider buying double the size if better value and making into two beds!) and can be washed at up to 90 degrees centigrade! Amazing!

Shrunk in the hot wash!
This is warm for our pup but it shrunk and curled up at the edges after its first 95 degree wash. It's still usable but is clearly affected by the 'boil wash' and not suited to boil wash as per description. Not in our experience anyway...

Fantastic for peeing Guinea Pigs!!!
I had to leave a review, I bought this for a guinea pig cage, have two males and they pee constantly, I had previously been using Carefresh but had to clean the whole cafe out every 2/3 days! It was supposed to be very absorbent but it was always soaking wet, even with puppy pads underneath! The Vet Bed is Amazing!!!! Two days later it's completely dry, removed the puppy pads underneath which absorbs the pee and they were soaking wet, took me 2 minutes to clean the cage, can now scoop up the poo instead of trying to pick it out of the Carefresh, two rolls cost me £30, one fits in the large rabbit cage which I use for the piggies, means I can swap when washing, can't recommend enough!!!

Perfect
I've cut the bedding to size to fit the bed for our puppy. Brill product as I was concerned the edges would fray, but absolutely fine. Washes a treat on a 40 degree wash.

Comfy. Needs a non-slip base.
The bed itself is nice and my dog likes it, but it would benefit greatly from a non-slip material on the bottom. On a hard floor it's very slippery.

Vet bed - the best
So glad I purchased this Petlife Vetbed for my new puppy (golden retriever). I use it in her crate at night, it keeps her warm and dry if she has a "pee" on it in the night or upends her waterbowl. The surface stays completely dry. One night I used a fleece blanket instead, and the difference was incredible, it was a horrible soggy mess. It is very durable, I put it in the washer each day and it is dry in minutes. It may seem expensive but is well worth it, I wouldn't be without this now, and would recommend it to anyone with a young puppy.

Labrador does not like it
Now kept in the boot of the car for journey's but our 2 year-old Lab rejected it after a few days. Did wash it in the machine but it seems to hold-on to shedded dog hair a bit too much. Bought a more expensive bed and no problems with that.
