Wife didn’t like ribbed skirt.

This isn't a bad skirt. It's fairly lightweight and gives a nice slim silhouette. It's more on the casual side than a dressier skirt. It would be cute to wear in the summer with sandals and a tank top, but the only problem is it's see-thru. You definitely need a slip, but then that defeats the purpose of a summer skirt (in my opinion). I don't know if I'll wear it--maybe indoors at night?

Love this skirt. It has enough body to drape nicely without being too thin or too thick. It is a welcomed addition to my dressier wardrobe and will travel and pack well.

I tried on the skirt when it arrived and loved it. So I washed it. Today I wore it for the first time and about 4” of seam came apart in the wash.

This is a black knit skirt with vertical ribbing with a wide waistband. This is an attractive long skirt, maybe 30-32 inches. It’s a comfy, nice-looking skirt with a slit side that can help create many different outfits. It’s rather thin, so it will require a slip. It’s sized a bit small, so size up one. This Charis Allure skirt is made of a soft polyester, viscose and elastane blend fabric with embossed stripes. The fabric has some stretch, hangs well and doesn’t cling or wrinkle. It’s thin and lightweight, so it’s good for hot weather. This skirt has an elastic waist that makes it comfortable and easy to wear. There’s a modest slit on the left side, and the length hits me a few inches below the knees. I’d like it better longer, but I’m 5’11” so it’s likely longer on most. This skirt is a budget basic that’s simple, but it appears to be reasonably well made.The cut is more form fitting than expected for an XL, but this skirt may just be a more tapered style and I’m overweight at this time. This skirt wouldn’t look good on me without a shirt that hangs long enough to cover my mid section. I like it with a simple but nice hip length tank or other sleeveless top. I have a matching duster in the same brand that I like to wear with it over a tank as it makes for a comfortable, lightweight outfit that looks coordinated and can pass for business casual days at work in this terribly hot weather.This skirt is nothing out of the ordinary, but I like the lightweight comfort and it’s an easy wash and wear piece that’s fairly casual but can be dressed up with a nicer top, duster or sweater and accessories. So it’s a good summer wardrobe staple I like enough that I’ve worn a couple times and will continue to wear in this hot weather especially. I’ve washed this skirt on a cold delicate cycle and dried it flat, and it looks just like new. I’ve also washed the matching duster in the same fabric many times and it still looks great, so this skirt should hold up too. I like this skirt, particularly because I have the matching duster. 3.5 stars.

This is a very straight narrow skirt, not A-line as it appears in the product photo. There is fortunately a slit on one side which allows good movement. The fabric is a soft rib but it is more see through than I would expect. It is OK.
