Perfect, though heads up about the hex screws !
I'm not diagnosed with anything but thought I'd look for something sleek and minimalistic to occupy myself with during downtime / during work. This is pretty much exactly what I was looking for out of a product. It's compact enough to go in your pockets, definitely silent as described and rolling it does feel like massaging your palms. The hand motion becomes second nature once you get used to it, it's satisfying in its own way. There's a nice weight on the aluminium version and the overall experience is like using an over-engineered toy in the best way possible. The only thing I feel the need to give a heads up about is the screws. At the time of posting there doesn't seem to be any FAQ response immediately available on the ONO website or much explanation of public forums. You get two 3mm hex keys included with the box. The screws are applied on what can be described as a threaded shaft for both rollers which turns independently from them, and [the screws] are thread locked (i.e. an adhesive coating has been applied to the screws to prevent them from loosening unintentionally). Practically this means the said shaft has it so turning one screw on one side makes the screw on the other side turn with it unless you have the other side secured, also preventing unintended loosening from using the roller. These are excellent measures against loosening which users of knock-off brands report about. Mine came in the box a tad loose on one side already. Let me say I've never fought screws *by hand* like I had to in order to tighten them here before, because the only way you can tighten or loosen them is to have both ends held down otherwise the screws won't turn independently of the shaft at all, and it's thread locked. The thread locking adhesive is definitely solid. I'd probably suggest using power tools instead of hands to tighten or loosen the screws because using the provided keys caused them to strip the screws when trying to do so by hand and it took all of my strength to remotely get them to budge - but once they do budge, they are significantly easier to turn from then onward. This is to be expected, since thread locking adhesives being tampered with usually requires a new coating to be applied. The moment force you apply (if looking at the screw from the top down) should cause the screw to rotate clockwise if you want to tighten, counter-clockwise to loosen. If you're still unsure, take your right hand and make a thumbs-up with your thumb pointed in the direction the screw face is facing; imagine an arrow pointing from your back knuckle (big ones) to front knuckle (the ones rings go over) for which way you should turn the screw to make it go where your thumb is pointing. The way I had to set the keys up to tighten was sticking the key on the top screw pointing to my right, sticking the second key on the opposite screw at the bottom pointing to my left, placing the bottom key against a solid surface and pulling the top key towards my body as hard as I could to tighten them. I would probably recommend to do it counter-clockwise to loosen first, as loosening the screws is a lot more likely to be easier to do in order to get rid of the thread lock coat first WITHOUT stripping the screw before it loosens, but I'm not sure how durable the screws are given mine have stripped quite a bit- I don't mind it, but other people definitely will.Long story short, the only way you're loosening those screws is if you have both ends held down with the keys and enough moment force is applied to turn them, so don't worry about the thread lock coating if you ever need to tighten or loosen the screws. Do the thumb trick and turn the screw accordingly, recommend you loosen first instead of tightening straight away. Yes, at first they may not budge at all, I train four times a week and I had to use nearly full strength to get them to turn at first. Probably would suggest getting a power tool to do the turning for you.Final note that even if you do decide to turn the screws and affect the thread lock adhesive, those screws aren't loosening from using the roller afterwards unless you have both ends held down with the hex key bits, don't worry about them, they aren't going anywhere.Pricey, but worth every penny. Don't get the knock-offs. Hope the information about the screws helped anyone who needs to tighten, loosen or disassemble the roller. Long read, but better safe and informed than sorry in my book.

Anxiety and stress help.
I’m a 32 year old chap trying to navigate his way through life whilst waiting for an Autism assessment to take place. Life has often been a struggle for me, perhaps more so than others. I tend to find Anxiety, Stress and Depression builds over time to a point that it becomes unbearable and something “breaks” so to speak. I often feel like I’m fluttering between a cycle of pent up emotions, breakdown, recovery (piecing myself back together) and beginning all over again whilst waiting for the next “break”. This may seem a negative opening, but please bare with me.I have been using this device now for a short period of time and I have noticed excellent results. I’m not the type of person who will sit here and say that this will absolutely work for you … results will vary as we are all different and this is what adds colour to the world. From my perspective, I have felt significantly less anxious when rolling this around in my hand. The texture is pleasing and I particularly like how it seems to absorb the cold. Put it in the fridge or freezer and the results are incredibly pleasing.I recently began a new job. On my first day, I was scheduled to be in the office. I usually work from home, but I had to go in and collect equipment and meet people. As somebody who suffers with social anxiety, this is always a daunting prospect. I took this device with me to the office, using it both on route and whilst in the office with people and nobody even noticed. I was worried it would be noticed and I would be questioned about it and I would have to divulge information I wasn’t ready to share openly with strangers. Nobody noticed. It’s discreet and silent, and I was able to use it all day to my hearts content. It definitely helped me feel more balanced and made navigating the challenge of this daunting new environment far easier.I also have an ongoing problem with picking my nails and skin on my fingers. I’ve had this issue as long as I can remember. I’ve tried all sorts throughout my life so far to stop it. I’ve even tried Cognitive Behavioural Therapy techniques, but nothing really changed the compulsive desire to tear my hands apart. Even with professional therapy, it’s never gone away. When I get stressed, anxious or depressed, I destroy my hands. It’s always been this way and I didn’t think anything could change this. Especially having tried so much over the years. This isn’t just minor picking either, I really will destroy my fingers without really realising I am doing it.However, I am extremely proud to say that my hands are looking significantly better now and it is thanks to this roller. I will include a photo as evidence of this. This device keeps my hands busy and prevents me from picking my cuticles and biting my nails. I honestly can’t recall the last time I saw my hands looking this good, which means it was probably way back in my childhood that they last looked like this.In my new role, it was nice to go and be able to shake hands with people without having plasters on each of my fingers or trying to hide them from view. It was also nice to experience a handshake without pain for a change. In the future, I would like to be a therapist. I am currently training towards this goal. Part and parcel of the training is developing a deep understanding of myself and self awareness. Through this, I have learned a lot about myself, my compulsions, patterns, thoughts and behaviours, but have never come across anything physically that really helped me. That is until now, of course. They often say the simplest things can work best. This is a simple device, but for me the results have been sensational. The size is great, it’s discreet and I really can’t demonstrate the impact it has had on me other than through this, admittedly, lengthy review.Though the device is simple, it is robust and clearly manufactured well. This will easily last me a long time. It may seem pricey for what it is, but I personally think the cost is justified considering the benefits I have got from this.As stated previously, people are unique, varying and multifaceted. Your experience with this may differ to mine and that is ok. At least you have the option to try it and return it if it doesn’t work for you. Personally, I think it’s a no brainer to try at least and see if it helps you too. Please note from the photos that my fingers aren’t perfect, as they are still recovering from the last attack before I got the ONO. However, they are almost healed which wouldn’t have been possible without the help of this. I won’t include a photo of what they were like before getting this as it is graphic and unpleasant to see, you will just have to take my word for it that this is a huge improvement.

What an amazing quality ADHD aid
The media could not be loaded. I was recently diagnosed with ADHD. As an adult getting your head around this and trying to find your way through the minefield of meds, books, websites in just overwhelming.I found the Ono roller recently on Amazon and read the reviews and took the plunge. What a great little gadget. I have large hand, and this sits comfortably in the hand. The motion is silent and all you hear is the touch of your hand on the roller. It is weighty, but not uncomfortable. It looks and feels quality. The roller prevents my from the distraction of biting nails and from also grabbing the phone. It has aided my focus, and the rhythmic movement feels second nature and doesn’t have to be learnt.Yes it is not cheap, but the quality of this item and the benefits I feel within a very short time of use is definitely worthwhile.

Super Quiet
This might be my favourite fidget toy ever. It’s practically silent. So on the days of endless meetings it helps keep me focused without being distracting to my colleagues. It is pricey but I’d very well made. There’s a definite weight to it that makes it very satisfying. Being metal you can cool it down in the fridge if that’s something you like. And the bag is nice and simple but works well. Definitely recommend.
