The gauze itself is not very thick, like the box of 2" gauze I bought I Target right away to start following doctor's orders before my shipment arrived. But like I said it did the job, because I had to wrap the gauze around itself over and over and it held very well after I taped it up. That 2" gauze from Target was white and thick and just made for a thicker wrap if I used it all.My main reason for my review though was simply to share photos of what I received, just so folks here have a clear idea of what you get. I took these photos of my second order. You get a bag of twelve wrapped gauze rolls shipped in a huge box. And you easily peel apart the wrapping for each gauze to get at them.
