## Questions & Answers

**Q: How often should puddle jumpers be replaced?**
A: I don't think the need for replacement is based on length of time.  Is it still in good condition?  Does it still fit properly?  Does it still function properly? 
 You wouldn't leave the child alone in the water even when wearing this, so you would be there to intervene immediately if it were failing.  But I guess if you are not comfortable with one that has been used for some period of time, get a new one.  Your feeling of safety and responsibility is worth that.

**Q: How is the polyester fabric? should i spring for the ultra, with hydroprene?**
A: The fabric was fine, and was fine in the models the 6 other kids who had these "puddle jumpers" at the b-day party!  My problem is that the 30-50# size I ordered was not sized the way the models were that we used - -it was sized for in error by the company.  I read that only the "deluxe" models are sized thus. The floatie needs to be adjustable at the back, so it expands, becase they are sized TOO SMALL.  My child is 70% growth chart and the arms were too tight on her - she is slender.

**Q: How do you clean a puddle jumper? Is it possible?**
A: I haven’t had to clean mine but if I was going to I would spot clean it by hand with a mild detergent.

**Q: Ad says for 20 - 30 lbs but description says 30 - 50 lbs. Which.is correct?**
A: 30 to 50 lbs is correct
