This awning needs to be assembled first and you need to pay attention to the instructions. It's not hard to assemble if you follow the instructions. I recommend watching an assembly/ install video for this item. Plus it's all aluminum so it's lightweight but that's good.We mounted this over a sunroom door. Our sunroom walls are 2 inch aluminum skin with foam in the middle so we did a modified mounting through the wall with stainless steel long bolts, lock nuts and 2 inch fender washers. I recommend getting the side wings. We put on the side wings and didn't need the support arms.This awning is sturdy and stable when mounted. It keeps the steps and door nice and dry in the rain. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recommend this product !!! *by P***1 on April 14, 2025* This door canopy is very easy to install, very helpful assembly instructions, took me very little time.
