Bella Canvas Women's Long Sleeve

These shirts are very comfortable and wash up nice, but they do run very small. I ordered an extra-large after reading another reviewer's posting who is the same height and weight as I am (5'8", 145#) and who said the X-LG fit well. Against my better judgement (I never wear an X-LG in anything), I ordered the X-LG, and to my surprise, it fit. The sleeves are quite long, but I'm not complaining; I spent most of my life complaining about sleeves being too short, so this is a plus for me. The shirt is also plenty long over all. It shrank slightly upon washing, but that is to be expected with 100% cotton. I plan to order a couple more of these.Update: I ordered another of these shirts, same size and color, and the fit was different with the second one. It fit okay across the shoulders and in length (allowing for some shrinkage), but the sleeves were way longer than the first one. They came down over my hands to my fingers, and I have long arms. I'm going to try to shrink it with several washings and dryings in a hot dryer, but I still have my doubts as to whether the sleeves will ever shrink up enough. In short, there apparently is little quality control with this product. I have decreased my rating to three stars because of this.

Love, love, love the Bella 5001 long-sleeved tees. Over the years, I've purchased just about every color offered, grabbing new ones as different shades become available. Constantly machine washed and dried, I notice no wrinkle development and less fading than expected with cotton fabrics; there's virtually no shrinkage nor pilling, either. The 5001 Bella tees are a medium-weight knit, so while a black bra will shadow behind a pastel or white tee, even this long-sleeve style breathes well enough to be comfortable for all but the hottest days here in Texas.What I like particularly are the neatly fashioned, shape-retaining necklines and femininely indented waistlines that I get with Bella's baby rib tees. Definitely recommended.

Have worn/washed these for about three months and they are holding up really well. No holes, no split seams, no fraying, no obvious fading/shrinking. The black shirt does pick up any bit of lint/pet hair flying around, so watch out for that. I bought a medium and a large to judge the fit and both are equally snug and body-hugging. Easily go under a shirt/sweater/jacket without making me feel straitjacketed. Recommend these.

This item is perfect! The sleeves are long which is exactly what I needed. Sorry to say that I am actually cutting the shirt up to make a costume, but if I wasn't, it would still be great. It fits exactly as I had hoped it would. I am cutting it up and the material is holding up well. It's thin but not too thin. It is also stretchy. I felt bad about having to cut it up to make my costume as it is a good shirt. =) Thank you! May have to buy another one to use AS IS.

I've been wearing this T shirt off and on for a few months. I have a couple of other T shirts by the same manufacturer. For the past couple of months I've noticed that my skin itches whenever I wear them. I didn't know what the problem was as the contents are cotton and polyester. Only recently I tried stretching one and realized - at once - that to stretch it had to have spandex or something similar. I'm allergic to Spandex so that was the cause of my itching. Why wasn't Spandex mentioned along with cotton and Polyester?

very nice quality esp at this price point. runs small for a top advertised as 'classic fit'. don't like tight fitted clothes, usually wear 6/medium but bought large. a little clingy and tight on my thick upper arms. buying xl next time. very much worth the price.

I usually wear a large, but accidentally bought the x-large. The shirt runs small, so I'm glad I got the x-large.

These Bella crew-neck tees are the best! They are neither too thin nor too heavy, have neat seams, and wash beautifully (I've had some for 2+ years). I've purchased several colors, and only replace one whenever I spill paint or otherwise damage one. I would like to have more colors available, since I wear them alone, under vests or sweaters, or sometimes with a short-sleeved tee on top. With jeans or for any casual type of dress, Bella tees are a quality addition.
