This looked good from the reviews, bv=ut has been badly let down by quality control, and the quality of the hardware to put it together.I was happy when it arrived, but a little concerned that the top section was quite loose, I fastened my Echo device to it, but when picking the whole thing up, the bottom half of the stand fell off. The two small screws holding this on had come completely loose. No problem I thought. i would just tighten them up, but they are installed before the plate is covered (picture 4) so you cannot get a screwdriver to them.My next thought was to remove the tilt mechanism, which would allow me to screw it onto the base, and then put the top plate back on. I tried to undo the bolts, but they were rusted in, and of cheap steel, so they both sheared with very little pressure. With a liberal application of WD40, I managed to get all the bolts out, and replaced them with some decent quality black fittings, but found it impossible to put back together unless I bolted the tilt mechanism to the base first, and then screwed the top plate down.To do this, of course, I had to punch two holes in the felt style covering to put a screwdriver through to the screws underneath, as my right angle driver still didn't have enough room.I also found the unit would allow the Echo to turn too easily, so thought I would tighten the centre screw while I had the unit apart, but the head had already been partially stripped when I got the stand, so have left it.I like the design, and the unit feels solid once everything has been replaced/tightened, but the initial assembly was very poor, and I still think the unit swivels too easily.Perhaps I should have tried to return it straight away, but I thought it would be an easy fix, and once the bolts had proven sub-standard, I think return would have been difficult.Not worth the money spent.I would certainly not recommend or purchase again.

I felt like I was taking a chance on this stand because it shipped from China and had no ratings or reviews, but the shipping was much faster than expected and the quality is quite good! I'm not sure if the price will change, but when I purchased this item it was significantly less expensive than similar items. No regrets on this purchase.

It took less than two weeks to arrive. So, don’t let the delivery scare you away. This is all aluminum with a ball bearing swivel. Extremely sturdy and easy to install. This is a great buy for a lifetime of use.

Love it! I hated that I couldn’t see anything when I used the “drop in” function with Alexa. The angle was always wrong. This stand corrects what Amazon’s engineers designed badly.
