I needed to replace a bad wheel on my 4 wheel roller travel suitcase and these were the perfect size, they fit great and were easy to install with the included hardware. Quiet and no scuff rubber make the bag roll effortlessly. Highly recommended for smaller weekender travel bags.

My wife hated her carry-on luggage because one of the wheels had begun to disintegrate so it was both hard to push and hard to steer. In trying to prolong its life, I measured her current wheels and ordered a set of 50 mm x 18 mm wheels. After carefully prying off the wheel axle covers, I found out the old axles are staked in place so they won't simply slide out. To get the staked axles out of the current luggage I needed to cut through the axle. I wrapped tape around a fine tooth hacksaw blade and slowly cut through the axles to free them and the old wheels from the mounts. Unfortunately the new axles were a bit bigger than my originals so i needed to drill out the holes a bit (i'm sure a round file would work if you had no drill). Pick the right length of screw-together axles from the kit and I was back in business!! Some key takeaways - First, these wheels are made of a nice smooth and hard plastic/rubber similar to a scooter wheel so they will last a lot longer than the original wheels. Second, they have bearings which are so much easier to roll than the simple bushing type of the originals (I did put a bit of ceramic bike chain wax into them to make them extra smooth and live even longer) and, man, the luggage is a pleasure to roll around. Great kit with good quality parts and enough pieces to fit many variations of luggage. My luggage happily lives on

Replacement rolling luggage wheels. Yes, they are likely skateboard wheels as well. Many different sizes. Make sure of what you need. Measurements are metric for wheel height, width, axel, and overall span. Two lengths of bolts covers more applications. I needed 23mm. What arrived was snickered twice. 23mm & 24mm. Still worked. Most luggage axles are pressed together and must be cut to remove. Tips says use a hacksaw. Old axles tempered steel. Gave up after 30 min barely cutting. Break out the angle grinder with a 4" cutoff wheel. Less than 5 min. WARNING: friction will make the old axel extremely hot. Enough to radiate into the molded mounts of the suitcase and melt it. Grind in spurts to keep the heat (and damage) to a minimum. Only con, the wheel contact width is less than half of original. Expect it will wear faster.

I was about to throw away a suitcase when I thought of these. They are way better than the originals, and they lasted 20 years. I just returned from a trip where one wheel separated in JFK. These look like they will outlast the luggage. I would repurchase these without hesitation.

Bought two sets for a trip. The wheels worked great at the airport. The only issue was removing the old wheels. I would rather do that than buy new luggage. I would buy again.

My Yamaha Stage Pass 600 case wheels were falling apart. A replacement case is $120., and both cases needed the wheels. It’s a little of a pain to change out the wheels due to design and enclosure of the axle after a little trial and error. Just be aware that one side of the wheels has right hand(normal) threads and the other has left hand threads. Wheels work great and fit perfectly.
