This is a good solution for someone who cannot remember to take their medicine. The only thing when it circles back to start that is a dosage missed. It’s important when you refill to adjust the pill container as well.

We have been using this for my MIL. She forgets her pills often and this does the trick. The alarm could be louder, and the pills can shift if someone shakes it too hardily. I do wish the item could be locked, however it is a simple latch. In supporting an 88-year-old person's independence, if there is no other issues, this would be great. However, the inability to secure it with a lock makes this a bit lacking for elderly with dementia. A key lock would have gone a long way. Still this is a nifty device.

Bought for my sister who has dementia .Her caretaker is not full time so she preparesHer medication in this container . She cannot open until time plus when it is time a chime rings .

Bought it for the locking function but the lock is on the batteries so you can still open it without a key. If locking the pills isn’t your reason for getting this then it’s good. But I bought it to lock the pills inside so no one could open it and take meds, good quality but not what I was looking for.

The description is wrong. It says the cover locks securely. There is no key needed to open the cover. Anyone can open the cover to the pills at anytime. To open the cover is a simple turning a lever. I am returning.

This dispenser works just as advertised. It takes a little time to figure out how to program, but not too difficult. The complexity is necessary. Definitely recommend.

This pill organizer overall is a good thing to have, but some of the pills get mixed up when machine is turned. When the alarm goes off, the only way to stop it is by turning the machine upside down. I bought this for my dad who has dementia and I'm the one loading the pills so that he doesn't get them mixed up but he has still gotten confused because of this design flaw. If this weren't an issue, then this would be a great pill organizer for anyone with memory issues.

The instructions aren’t very clear. The cardboard ring you insert to keep track of days is very flimsy and just fold down into the pill section so pills get caught under it.
