How long is this pasta server (end to end)?

This pasta server is 13 inches long from end to end. The serving portion is 3 1/4 inches wide.

Do the Cuisinart cooking utensils get scratched easily? They look very nice brand new, but how nice do they look a couple years down the road?

I've only had set of utensils for 9 mos. They still look like shiny and new unless you take a real close look for scratches. It's probably because I have them rubbing against other cooking utensils in the drawer. But the scratches are pretty light.

Would this spoon hold up stirring something really thick or heavy without bending?

The description says it's stainless steel, however I received the order and no where on the product does it say it's stainless steel. is it really?

Regarding magnetic properties determining whether something is stainless steel - it's not that simple. Some types of stainless steel are magnetic, while others are not. From my research: "A basic stainless steel has a 'ferritic' structure and is magnetic. ... However, the most common stainless steels are 'austenitic' - these have a higher chromium content and nickel is also added. It is the nickel which modifies the physical structure of the steel and makes it non-magnetic." We ordered the spatula; it is not magnetic, so we assume it has a higher chromium and/or nickel content.
