Bought these for woodworking. I find them superior to my Jorgensen f clamps, by far. The steel frame is extremely rigid. Also, the threads are well-cut and operation very smooth. Easier to use too- they don't have a mechanism that holds position, so slides easily for adjustment. Add a rubber band if needed. But it slides onto the workpiece, you slide the head into position, and in 1/2 turn there's great clamping. Def overkill but more economical. The top of the F, being flat, easily allows one to cut slots in e.g. a portable bench, just cut a mortise in the side, slide the flat head in, and there ya go- secure holding without the clamp in your way. Very solid in all regards- good weight, super rigid, easy to adjust and use in many ways.

These were exactly what I needed to complete a project. Good value, quality set of clamps.

I saw this clamp in Home Depot first, and after looking at several other brands, I went on Amazon and purchased a set of four. They are super well-made, and worth every cent I paid. Can't say enough, other than 'Made in Germany'.

I bought these to replace some that were stolen. I was very impressed with the quality and the price. I like them more than my other clamps. Work great.

Very small clamp for durability

Comparing this to other pricier models, I was reluctant to save a few bucks and sacrifice quality. I expect tools to last a lifetime. Other reviews raised quality questions. But then I realized all the reviews on the 1200 lb model were good and strength concerns related to the 450 lb model. Based on that I tried it out. As soon as I unpacked and tested it, I realized they are strong, every bit as good as the pricier models I had previously purchased.

I bought a pack of the 1200 lb and was so impressed with them I showed the owner of the company I work for and he has replaced every bad clamp in the shop. We build dump beds and it requires a ton of clamps to build just one and we have to flex hardox to fit beams so we are clamping hard. These are awesome just don’t abuse the tool and it will last forever.
