This is a fantastic cooler that allows me to game without thermal throttling my CPU. I bought this cooler because it intakes from the back which allows me to sit my laptop down on the bed or furniture without me worrying about the intake being suffocated. This cooler is a lot quieter than most that provide comparable cooling, although it's not silent on the higher settings. It's not a type of fan sound that I find annoying. I don't usually write reviews, but I ran into a problem with this cooler and KLIM support is some of the best I've ever seen. They resolved the problem immediately, without hesitation or interrogating me for information. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another product from them.

The cooling pad is strong and very effective in cooling my gaming laptop down! My favorite part is the air filter foam that traps dust (which prevents build up of dust in the laptop internal fans), and the foam lining underneath the laptop that maximizes the cooling effect. The price is also more reasonable than other cooling pads of similar design. But perhaps the most impressive part is their customer service. About 4 months after I bought the cooling pad, the fans started to generate loud rattling noise when turned on, which is the only reason i'm taking off one star. I contacted their customer service, their reply was very quick and they replaced my unit at no additional cost (which is extra impressive given it was around the new year). Overall very impressive by the effectiveness of the product, and even more so with their attentive customer service team!

Absolutely love this! My laptop is the highest-performing one I've ever had, but I kept running into the overheating problem, caused by both the surface I typically use it on, as well as the types of games and programs I run. I looked into a cooler, read this was the best one for the pricing, and bought it. I haven't had ANY issues since! Absolutely amazing product. The only gripe I have is that even if I turn the lights on, if the laptop is on and in use, it will turn the lights back on occasionally. Kind of annoying, but it doesn't negatively affect the score I've given, as the product performance itself more than makes up for it.

Purchased for a laptop that I actually used on my lap. Does not work at all for that purpose. First your knees will knock off the back deflectors and then the laptop will slide forward after a few minutes and knock off the little plastic tab in the front that keeps the laptop on the pad. When you go to fix either of the above problems, the foam underneath held by 4 tiny magnets will crumple up under your laptop. You will spend more time fixing the above problems than doing work. I tried taping the tabs, nope still could not get all the pieces to hold. I would love to return it but my husband put the box it came in out in the trash the same day it arrived and I would feel funny trying to return it without a box. I would give it a zero if I could because of the frustration it has caused over the last few days. Yesterday I order a top of the line laptop cooler without all of these problems, I hope it arrives soon because I need to get some work done before this laptop pad drives me crazy.

Had it for a few months and it is a bit louder than I expected. Even though the fans blow hard, it seems like it doesn't keep the same temp like when it was new. Update After I reviewed, the seller reached out to me and said they would replace the defective unit. I received it super quick and my laptop is cooler than ever. My daughter also commented it is much quieter than the first one. I will review in a few months if I need to. Re-rated the product to a 5 since it works real well and the customer support is top notch

This company stands behind its products. I bought the KLIM Everest model and it was working well for a few months. However, one of the fans bearings went out. I inquired looking for just a replacement fan that I could buy as I know sometimes things happen. When I contacted the manufacturer, they responded immediately that they do not sell fans but would be glad to ship me an entire new cooling pad to replace the defective one. I didn't inquire nor did I ask for this, they volunteered. I highly recommend this product as it does keep my laptop cool and the company has fantastic customer support, especially Thibaud! He even followed up with tracking info and also followed up to ensure I received the product. Every star has been earned by Thibaud and KLIM!

My Laptop is a 17" Lenovo Legion 5 with an Intel I7 10750H CPU and Nvidia RTX2060 GPU. I have had problems solving Thermal Throttling on the CPU. CPU would hit about 97c while gaming. GPU Temps are fine. First I want to say, this does do what it is suppose to do. I no longer have CPU Thermal Throttling while gaming. If I run Furmarks CPU Burner the CPU will Thermal Throttle however it is about 6-7c cooler than before. In the first pic notice the foam covers almost half the fan intakes, if I pull the Laptop Forward in the second pic you can see this is reduced to about a third of the fan intakes being coverd, however in this postiion I can barley access the fan controls as you can see in the third pic. The laptop is barely narrower that the cooler, don't let the perspective fool you into thinking it is wider than the cooler. On high the fans make a strange sound. Like there "Harmonizing" maybe. It really stands out. Even with my Soundcore VR P10 earbuds in I can still hear it when no other sounds are playing however I do not notice the sound while gaming. The only other thing I would like to mention this adds a lot of height to your keyboard, you will have to adjust your postiioning which might take some time to get use to. As I am typing this review my shoulders are starting to hurt a little. I will have to get some pads for my arms/elbows to rest on. Not sure if I am going to keep this or not. I will keep you updated as time passes and see if I get use to it or not.

Laptop temps dropped by about 5C -8C when fan is on max. I also reapplied thermal paste (Corsair) to my 7+ year old laptop. Together I saw temp drops of nearly 20C. It is a little bulky. Considering the historical battle between price, performance and aesthetics, it's a fair trade. The fan on "Max" is pretty loud for a PC fan. I think it sounds like a C17. So my laptop is now an airplane -> AWESOME lol. If you're looking for silence, this is not it. If you have headphones or don't mind a background hum, the performance is worth it in my opinion. * 4 not 5 stars because you can not turn off the lights, even if the rest of functions are turned off via the power switch. Very strange design decision. If you plug it into your laptop's USB, this probably isn't an issue, but that seems counter productive to me, so it has a dedicated USB from a power strip.

Ich hatte schon mehrere Laptop-Lüfter. Zuerst mit 3, sogar mit 10 Lüftern. Es hat auch immer für den Normalbetrieb gereicht. Im Videoschnitt war es dann aber vorbei. Auch mit dem Klim wird das Notebook oben zwar noch recht warm, bei den Vorherigen war es da aber schon "heiß". Die Unterseite ist dafür aber sehr kühl geblieben. Ich denke, da hilft auch dieser Dichtungsring und der Metallplatte auf dem Boden. Nach dem letzten Rendern über 24 Stunden auf höchster Stufe ging leider ein Lüfter des Kühlpads kaputt. Nach kurzem Mailverkehr mit einem Mitarbeiter des Herstellers (in meinem Fall Stephan) wurde mir anstandslos ein neues Gerät zugesendet. Der Kontakt war sehr freundlich und sachlich. Zusammengefasst würde ich das KLIM Everest noch einmal holen. Zum einen hat es für ein USB-Gerät sehr viel Power. Ich denke, stärker geht nur noch mit externem Netzteil. Und ich habe ungern noch mehr Kabel rumfliegen. Zum anderen ist der Kontakt über den Hersteller sehr kompetent und man muss keine Angst haben, abgewimmelt zu werden. Der Versand den Ersatzgerätes erfolgte innerhalb kurzer Zeit.

Ottima base di raffreddamento per PC portatili non superiori a 15 pollici e non estremamente potenti. Secondo me è fattibile anche trasportarla insieme al PC, certo ci vuole una borsa o zaino capiente, ma rispetto ad altre basi mi sembra comoda come dimensioni e peso. Anche la rumorosità secondo me è sopportabile rispetto ad altre basi molto più rumorose. Mi sento di concludere dicendo che per me è un buon compromesso tra potenza rumorosità e portabilità. Come marchio mi sembra affidabile, io ho due basi diverse della KLIM e per ora non mi hanno dato nessun tipo di problema. ATTENZIONE: se il vostro portatile ha il dissipatore di calore sul retro optate per un altro modello perché questa base aspira l'aria fredda proprio da dietro.

super cooling pad , works great and is very quiet . Super supportive customer service . respond in 24 hours . I will buy from this company again if I need something and know that It is backed by a great company .

Je trouve ce refroidissement très intéressant pour son prix, il refroidit beaucoup mon Asus Tuf Gaming A16. Je suis passé de 95°C à 75°C, ce qui est très bien 👍 je peux jouer à fond sans problème. Je le recommande vivement.

The KLIM Everest is a great choice for anyone looking to cool their laptop by 5-10°C (depending on ambient temp, workload, laptop spec etc). I initially had a squeaking problem with my unit (perhaps a loose bearing from manufacturing) but KLIM Support was very helpful and took care of the issue - for this solid warranty coverage alone I can recommend it. It works by pushing cold air through the (bottom) intakes of laptop, and features heat deflectors at the back to prevent sucking in warm air from exhausts. There's 6 levels of cooling 1-5 and then "Max". I leave it on 1 when streaming/watching media and Max when gaming. While Max speed is a little loud it's not as loud as my laptop fans so no complaints there. I don't really use the RGB lighting so I appreciate that it can be turned off. It also has dust filters on the intake which prevents the internals of the laptop getting dirty.
