Mary Ray Target Stick For Dogs

I’m owner training my dog to be an assistance dog and was having trouble getting him to learn where I wanted him to be positioned next to my wheelchair when we were walking. My trainer suggested using one of these and attaching it to my wheelchair frame. It has worked brilliantly.I soaked the ball in fish oil overnight so it had plenty of reward value for Morse. I realise that this isn’t how it would normally be used reward-wise. It also saved me from having to bend down which is very painful. When not in use this is compact enough to fit in my bumbag. It’s quite a sturdy design to other brands and the handle is also anti slip.I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to build their training kit.

Ball came off 1st use compared to the other make. Not substantive to use as a a target coach stick caused a choke risk to the dog. Very disappointed. Waist of money needs to be secure.

Good quality and easy to use

Loved this, just what I was looking for: large easy to see matt texture target ball and it extends to a decent length. The foam covered handle is nice to hold. Unfortunately after less than a fortnight the end section has fallen out, followed by two small pieces of metal from inside the main section. I have not been rough with it and expected it to last a bit longer - especially with Mary Ray's name attached to it. The seller was prompt to respond about the issue and a replacement is on its way, which will hopefully be longer lived. In all other respects it's been perfect!

Apparently yellow is a good colour for dogs to see as they see in shades of black and white and yellow gives a clear shade. I gave this to a dog trainer friend and she loves it.

Was advised to buy this by our dog trainer from heel work to music class. Feel very professional now. Almost as good as Mary Ray!!😉Good quality.

so easy to use fab product

Bot what i thought it was. Alot smaller than expected. The ball on the end came off within the first minute of use
