I've had the opportunity to test the Waterproof Underwater Housing for GoPro Hero 12, 11, 10, and 9, and it's been a mixed bag of experiences. I've taken it down to 40 meters (131 feet) underwater, and my GoPro remained completely dry. The included bracket holds the camera securely in place.Durable Build: The case itself feels robust and well-made. It can withstand the rigors of underwater use and provides protection against impacts and scratches.Crystal-Clear Lens: The high-quality glass lens ensures that your footage remains distortion-free underwater. It captures sharp, clear images and videos.Excellent Value: Compared to official GoPro dive housings, this option comes at a more budget-friendly price without sacrificing quality.Cons:Occasional Fogging: I did experience some fogging on the inner lens during longer dives. Whilst the newer GoPros are already waterproof out the box and don't need additional protection, there are some situations where extra protection is never amiss particularly to protect the body from saltwater and if doing extreme sports, to protect from debris, crashes/impacts, dust, sand etc..This case is very simple to assemble and uses the quick release mount - of which one set is provided. The case is easily inserted from the rear, and the clip to close the case is very secure - as is the rubber strip surrounding the part where the case front/back meet. There are also some fog strips provided which I believe are to absorb any moisture that will cause the GoPro lens to fog up inside the case, that can be inserted in the gaps, below and to the side of the GoPro inside the waterproof case.In use the image quality was excellent with the case in pristine condition and no noticible distortion or glare. The type of plastic can scratch over time which may reduce the image quality, Additionally moving the unit between warm/cold environments will introduce lens fog when used without the strips of which a limited number or provided, and it's a pain to have to remove the unmount screw in order to open the case.Personally for shallow dives I would happily use the GoPro underwater without a case to avoid missing a shot due to fogging. However this is a great housing for extreme sports such as Snowboarding where this will provide extra protection due to impact or debris during snowstorms.The buttons are spring based and quite tactile in use. It's great the case is transparent as you can see all aspects of your GoPro easily, including if water is entering due to a fault seal.Being completely sealed, you of course can't mount any additional accesories apart from different handles with the quick mount system supported.

I ordered this for someone who has a GoPro 10 and then they told me it's already waterproof. They're trying this anyway since I'd ordered it but I'm a bit disappointed that I didn't realise it's rather superfluous to needs.

Great product - no misting - no leaks - does exactly what it says. Used for my gopro 12. Recommend.
