As you can see in my photo, I originally had a round lock and kind of curved handle. This new lock is super sleek and makes the door look updated fresh and new. The finish that’s on the lock would be suitable for most door colors. Period. It was pretty easy to install. Only took me about 10 minutes. I had no trouble going from a circular to this square form. I really also like that. It comes with four keys so you have plenty to give out in case of emergencies. I have no complaints.

It was time to change the lock as the existing one had come loose with use and wasn’t keeping the door completely secured and shut at times. This one seems to be made of a higher quality material, and stronger too.The adjustable latch is a bonus especially when installing in older doors, but this feature makes it more challenging to align with the space one needs to work with while reaching out for all the pieces. It took me a while as it is pretty heavy and kept moving while putting it in place. I am not that handy, but I do advise that a person holds it in place and assists passing the already sorted out pieces and screws while the other does the installation, just like a surgeon or dentist assistant, to ease any challenges. This is especially helpful because as others have pointed out in their reviews, it is easy to scratch the finish while you’re aligning it and screwing it in place. This makes me nervous about its look and durability.The style is truly unique, so different from the traditional round. It gives the door a studier and tougher look. Because of this, now one forgets the installation endeavor. It’s eye-catching and good-looking.It feels pretty sturdy to me. Perfect for our back-door where it matches and compliments with our TV room other decorative pieces, which are in black wrought iron and gold. Hopefully this lock will remain strong and won’t get scratches when opening and locking the door, only time will tell … The two locks combo pack is fairly priced as far as I can feel and see at the moment.Oh, I almost forgot to mention this, it's really convenient to get a set of 4 keys which work for both locks! My family is all set.

Great product was easy to install. Looks sleek and modern.

We have been looking for an entry door lockset for my son's ADU. However, most lock sets in themarket have round knobs which is understandable. After all, one has to rotate the knob around to lockor unlock the doors which explains why door knobs are round to match its shape with the way yourotate it in a circular way. However, with a home that has a minimal and modern design with everythingin square shapes, it's a bit awkward to have a round lock with a round knob. Hence, we are very happythat we finally found this set, and everything has a 90 degree corner and it conceals everything circularin an elegant way to give it a modern look. It is made of high quality matt black metal and comes withall the hardware necessary for installation and four keys. We cannot wait to see how it looks when it isinstalled in our ADU. Highly Recommended!

Update: after using it for few months (this is the deck back door, so we use it only 5/6 times per week, even less in the winter), the deadbolt won't turn and the door cannot be locked anymore. It is completely stuck. No changes have been made to the door or nothing happened to have cause this. Just a bad quality item.We installed so far the deadbolt to replace an old one. At the beginning we thought the deadbolt was not suitable for thick doors, but soon realized that the set comes with two sets of screws, so it can be installed in thinner or thicker doors. Once installed, it is very good looking and turns very smoothly. Recommended.

I installed the handle set but not the deadbolt the other day. It seems that this product is not made for a standard thickness door. Even though I installed it correctly and tightened all the screws the handles are still slightly loose as if they were made for a thicker door. I’m not sure what to do except live with it because it’s just a door from a storage room into the garage.

I'm very happy with this purchase. As you can see in the photos, the old door hardware was in poor condition and the knob was hard to operate. Replacement took no more than 10 minutes and was very easy. The screws in the new hardware lined up right away and was easy to get the handle aligned and tightened. The new hardware is well built and looks great. The lever makes opening the door easy with hands full of eats going into the rear yard/ The deadbolt works like very easy unlike some door knob assemblies from big box stores.

The media could not be loaded.  The keyed door handle and deadbolt by Baolong, is a nice door handle and deadbolt combo. The materials are solid and feel well built, providing a good sense of security. The spring for the handle twist is firm like a quality piece. However, the key action on the deadbolt of putting it in and out and turning feels cheap, reducing my confidence in its security abilities. The install was easy and straightforward, without any complications.Overall, this is a well-built handle and lock on the outside that looks great and secures well, providing a great value that should stand the test of time for a while. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it.You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product.
