I took a punt on it, honestly rather anticipating that I'd find I'd wasted a few pounds, but at the price being asked I wasn't worrying too much. I actually want if for viewing my small 12volt TV in my campervan. I don't have room in the van to carry a "proper" aerial. Anyway, it arrived and I connected it first to the 32" TV in my living room, which operates with a full-size loft aerial, just to see what would happen. I was astonished - with this little aerial stuck by its "sucker" to the adjacent internal door lintel, the picture was almost as good as I normally get. So out to the van, where I connected up the 12volt set, waved this tiny aerial around a bit to find the best orientation, and soon had an excellent picture. Admittedly, I live on the South coast, not too many miles from the nearest transmitter, and whether or not this is a factor in the aerial's efficiency I shall only discover when I am travelling around and stopping overnight in different locations. Be warned - this thing is TINY and not exactly robust so you need to treat it with reasonable care. How can this be fair, you buy something and it doesn't work (bear in mind trying it is the only way to find out if it works) yet can't return it for a refund or exchange!!!
