Vanishing Scent Bengay Relief Gel, Non-Greasy Topical Reliever with Cooling Menthol, 2 oz

I have never liked the smell of Bengay and have avoided using it whenever I had to be at work or around other people. This Vanishing Scent version is soooooo much better. It has the typical potent smell when you first apply it, but then it fades away. I'm a fan and will order again.

This is my favorite muscle pain relief gel. It has a vanishing scent...and it doesn't get too hot.

This has been hard to find in my local small-town stores, so I have been ordering it. This stuff works well on my frequent stiff neck and shoulders. Scent vanishes quickly. Will continue to use.

It does work as described, its non-greasy and the smell does go away! Pretty quickly, too. The only downside, however, is it is not as effective at the 'pain relief' part, possibly because of this? I have a variety of bengay/icyhot products I use for severe neck pain, and had gotten this because my roommate does not like the smell of these products so that worked out for her, but it is sadly not as effective as the normal product. I do have pretty severe pain (i am in physical therapy) so the level of efficacy could be good enough for you! And it is distracting and works well enough for other things, but if you're used to the normal product and expect it to be the same for really bad pain, then perhaps adjust your expectations. If perhaps not as effective but you/people around you do not have to put up with the smell and thats a compromise you are willing to make, then I think you will be quite happy with it.
