Lol, my wife said it was difficult to use but she didn't read the manual either! I did simple to use and great for freezing items

I got this because my mom likes hers. Of course the first chance I got to use it was 2 weeks after the refund period. It doesn't vacuum well enough to stop vacuuming and start sealing. So it never seals, just sits there forever sorta vacuuming. It cuts and seals great, but it's not vacuum sealed.

Love this thing. Easy to use. Great to package all foods in freezer. Easy operation.

It works great save a lot of money on food don't have to throw it in the garbage no more food does last a lot longer

So after listening to a bunch of whiners unable to follow instructions or purchase the wrong sized sealer or bags, I was apprehensive about this unit. I have had several food savers in the past. This product has some versatility they did not. THE PRODUCT WORKS FINE!! Use some common sense, and yes make sure your bag is flat when doing a suck n seal! No is doesn't matter what side of the bag is up when sealing. Buy the thing and enjoy it!

I had high expectations for this product as PowerXL makes great products. I think this one sucks though. First off, I find it hard to align the bag under the alignment bar tab. The bottle and zip lock bag sealer attachment worked great. The heat sealer works great. The vacuum and seal function does not work or else I'm doing it wrong. I tried sealing some bulk spices that are in small zip-lock bags. I placed the bags inside the sealer bag, lined it up in the alignment arm, closed the sealer and pressed the vacuum/seal button. It vacuumed for about half a second then sealed the bag. It did not suck the air out of the bag! I'll play around with it some more but will not get my hopes up. Update: well I got it to vacuum and seal a couple of bags. Third bag, no. I guess it's how you line it up. I'll keep working at it but not really satisfied. Would be easier to use if the sealing arm opened wider.

This unit is very good. Able to use the bags for a different brand unit as well as those made specifically for this unit.

The item was broken before it was shipped out. The seller is resealing return items which are listed as new. All fairness vacuum suction works, what is not working is the clamp does work. Unless I wanted to stand AND hold down the foodsealer it will never work as designed. I reach out to this seller but never got a response 2 weeks, Amazon said I'd need to work with seller towards a resolution which never occurred. $$$ I lost cash money
