My guinea is just over 1kg** A: Xeno 450 is for guinea pigs over 1.2 kg, so what you should really use is "Xeno 50" - mini, which is for guinea pigs up to 1.25kg, as the dose in each pipette is lower. The correct dose should be 200 - 400 mcg per kilo of guinea pig, so one pipette of Xeno 450 is actually 50 mcg too much. You should err on the side of caution and get the Xeno 50, as an overdose can be deadly I believe. **Q: Hi does anyone know if this works as a wormer and flea treatment** A: I'm not sure about worming but certainly flea treatment, my rabbit is prone to fur mites which take all the nutrients out of the affected area causing hair loss. I began treating her with homeopathy products which were excellent and showed a vast improvement with fur returning after a couple of weeks though she was still suffering with a small patch of constant scaley skin on her back and so I tried xeno 450. Well worth it as there was a noticable improvement after the first dose. 14 days later she had her second dose and no more signs of mange. One more treatment in a fortnight and she will be as good as new.
