Stylish and Well-Made
At the time of this review I have been wearing these boots almost every day for a little over three weeks. After making sure they fit correctly by wearing them around the house for a day, I conditioned them with an application of Huberd's Shoe Oil and let them sit overnight. During the next few days, as the boots broke in, I could feel a sort of hot-spot on the inside of my left ankle where the brass harness ring was pressing against it. It became fairly sore, but not so sore that I couldn't wear the boots. By day 7 or 8, the boots had broken in sufficiently that the harness ring no longer pressed into my ankle, and the boots have become my regular, all-day, everyday wear for most days (the exception being when I go to the farm and wear my steel-toed work boots). The boots look and feel well-constructed, and I'm seeing no loose stitching. One thing I had not anticipated: These boots are not lined, and so the rough side of the leather has a tendency to grip my knee-length socks and work them downward, so that every so often I have to hoist my pant legs up and pull up my socks. I figure that, over time, that rough leather will wear smooth and my socks will stay in place.

Super comfortable, but make sure to wear boot socks.
I used to wear Dingo boots in the 1970s, but until now, I haven't been able to find new ones. The wider toe area makes them more comfortable for me. I never did like standard cowboy and riding boots because of their reduced and uncomfortable toe area. The upper leather is a bit rough on the inside, so I prefer wearing high calf boot socks to lessen chaffing during initial wear in.

I used these nearly daily on a working ranch for over a year now.
It's been over a year now that I have used these nearly every day to tromp around in mud, dust, brambles, thistle, bamboo, black berries, and a whole bunch of other shi... stuff. They are 100 percent still functional but not nearly as purty as they once were. That right there says a whole lot about the quality of these kickers. For years I rocked a pair of size 12 Frye billy boots as my daily kicks. I always had the leather sole and they always lasted about 9 months before they were too ridden with holes to wear anymore. That is strictly city slicking it mind you. I returned to work my family ranch over a year ago and although Frye boots are extremely comforatable for my particular foot shape they are not a boot that would last out in the wild.I needed a pair of boots that would take some serious use (some might call abuse) and still protect my feet. I also needed these boots to cost significantly less than the high faluting foot wear my feet are accustomed to wearing. I was not gonna drop 300 plus on a pair of boots I figured would be tattered inside of 3 months.I needed boots that had a more resilient sole than leather but were constructed of leather everywhere else. I didn't want some stupid looking square toe because my feet are not that of a ducks. I decided that the boots should also incorporate a harness on them because why not? After a while searching on amazon for good cowboy boots I found these Dingo harness boots for under a bill. I liked the look of them, they met my requirements, and I think Dingos are cool so I got them in size 12 regular. I was not expecting these boots to be as great as they are. I wasn't expecting them to be half as well constructed as they are nor was I expecting them to be made from such high quality materials as they are. I Certainly did not foresee these boots as being as durable as they are. They have stopped every puncturous item I have stumbled on before it reached my foot. On more than one occasion they have deflected a misguided axe or machete ricochet. They have stomped out fires and wadded through creeks and have only responded with a clear "pshhht what else you got?"The only gripe I have about them is that the shaft circumstance is a tad wide for my liking. Boot cut jeans will fit over them fine but anything on the slim or skinny side is gonna look pretty stupid trying to go over them. These boots are now classified as tools in my book.I use the hell out of my tools. These boots have far exceeded my expectations in every way shape and form.

These boots are great. There are a few things I would care ...
These boots are great. They arrived way sooner than estimated. There are a few things I would care to mention however.1) the color of the light brown ones are a lot darker than they appear. I ended up sanding mine to give them a rustic/worn tan appearance.2) I found that the heel fits too loose3) I would have much preferred the opening near the heel be tapered, rather than the same length as the opening. This would improve he fit as well as make it easier to let slim jeans fit over.

Dingo boots since the earliest 70s no change..
I wear boots i know my size. I have other "Dingo " boots. Everytime I buy leather boots I size them with a sizing solution. These boots were real tight at first pull on. I sized them with the hot sizing for an hour about up past the ankle area. I have done this for years with NO problems. I empty them put and blot the the insole to remove sizing and put a thick sock on. Then pull the boots on. Carry a fresh pair of socks and in six hours change your socks. Put more hot sizing in for thirty minutes blot insole again slip boots back on for the rest of the day. Boots will conform to YOUR foot on 1 day. Next day mink oil really well. Wear boots all day. Third day they are broken in and feel great.....

Great boot
They did not have my size and were prompt in giving me options. I chose 1/2 size larger hence the somewhat large fit. I love the boot and with and with a thick sock it fits fine. Comfortable and great look

Right boot is clearly smaller than the left boot
Hi, I love the style of boot and the left boot fits perefectly but the right boot is clearly smaller (See attached picture). I would like to have another set the same size 9.5 sent to me but verfied that both boots are the same size. I will pay for the second set that you send to me and the supplier can pay for the shipping, return shipping and credit me for the original pair that are size mismatched. Please contact me as soon as possible. As soon as I have received the new pair of boots and they are the same size and fit properly I will remove this review and write a good review.
