I saw some of the other reviews and of course you have to take the tire off the rim to repair it. How else do you fix it? This is a good little kit for any tire. Yes, you will need to know how to do it first. This kit has everything you need to do it right. I haven't used it on a car tire, yet, but I patched my bike tire when I first got this in December and it's still holding strong. Highly recommend.

Nice kit with everything you need to help out some tires, besides cement. I've used a couple of these patches already and the patches are still holding 2 months later so so far so good.

The prep tool worked well, it took it down to clean rubber. The patches are holding strong, so I'd say the patches and other tools did their job.
