My 8 year son mentioned this feature immediately as well. We purposely bought a little bigger, As we always do, because it's not like they are going to change the uniform color. But He wears a 10 comfortably so the 10-12 is slightly big so will get him through a good part of next year since we live in a warm climate. We might be needing to replace size in the Spring of next year. They also do not seem to hold stains as much. It has held up AWESOME through chocolate milk and ketchup at lunch and through a few washings; which is always a litmus test for us as well as forgetting to change after school and play (which was on purpose so I could run it through its trials) Since I bought 5, and I was curious, I did not treat one shirt, and got between the Tide and the shirt received a clean shirt at the end. I have saved this brand for future purchases which will include long sleeve shirts for him.
