AIVOLT1200W Petrol Inverter Generator 4 Stroke Portable Silent Suitcase Generator for Camping, Home Use - True Sine Wave, Super Lightweight, Ultra Quiet

This is my first foray into inverter generators, having always used plain 240v machines. Took it whilst using a friends boat last week, just in case, as my wife likes to use the microwave a fair bit and we would be without any EHU.Turned out the boat batteries were shot which left us stranded after our first night out. I knew the generator has a battery charge function so started to use that, turns out this was very slow for this size battery so realising I had the EHU adapter I connected the generator to the EHU plug, fired it up and the boats 50a charger did the rest. 5 minutes later the boats started up and we were on our way.On ‘low idle’ the generator is quiet but when using a lot of power, there is very little difference between the noise on this model and any other one. It does score highly for weight, this was the 1200a model and it is quite small, enough to just tuck away. We ran it overall for maybe 3 hours in total and it had used only a small amount of fuel.It starts easy, I always stop it by turning off the fuel and letting it drain the carburettor fully.I did make the mistake once of forgetting to let it stabilise before plugging in for mains, the result was that no power was forthcoming. I suspected a defect but re-reading the instructions brought home the need for letting it run for two minutes before requesting power.For the price, it’s a great, easy to start and versatile machine. The included accessories are very useful too.

This is a great generator. It starts first or second pull every time. The power it provides is enough to run my caravan when at race circuits without mains power. It is lightweight compared to other generators I have used and reasonably quiet but, like all petrol generators, take the word "silent" with a bucket of salt

I bought the 1200 Watt version to power my Motorhome it drives air fryer (800w) , microwave (800w), heating, TV etc and charges the leisure battery in a few hours. Runs easily for 8 hours loaded up with all the items I've previously mentioned. Quality of the unit is far better than its cost , starts first pull of cord. Lightweight and very portable. They say it takes a few hours use to run in then to change the oil which is pretty simple. Great little buy.

Aivolt 3300 watt generator.I've only had the generator for a few days.I've ran it for 5 hours so now it's due for its oil change after the break in period.First impressions. It does what it says on the tin. Runs smooth and not too noisy. I've used various corded electric tools and it's worked perfectly.I will change the spark plug for a better NGK spark plug when change the oil.I can't find anywhere where you can buy an official AIVOLT replacement air filter should I ever need to change it sometime in the future.

The generator as received starts every time but when trying to increase the output by increasing the speed it consistently shut down during running.Followed instructions to the letter without success.However this company do not let you contact them by phone. This is not professional and hinders getting things sorted out.They seem to insist you prove it wrong rather than accepting your word.In my mind I would never ever recommend them based on my experience.

The generator was supplied promptly between Christmas and New Year but whilst it started easily it kept cutting out after a few seconds. Once they were back after the break the customer support team quickly identified a faulty carburettor and sent me a new one with links to assembly videos on Youtube. The new carb was quite straightforward to fit for anyone with mechanical experience but the videos were a little short on detail and safety advice. The generator is now working as advertised for topping up the batteries in my motor home and available to run a small microwave when we have another power cut. Overall I am happy with the product and the response to my problem but it was frustrating to be without it for two weeks when quality control in the factory should have identified the distorted carburettor mounting. Hence 4 stars overall.

Ideal for our Motorhome off grid excursions. Quiet and good on fuel, it runs everything in the van but don't run too many things ie Kettle and oil filled radiator at the same time as itl cut out. Otherwise it's great, lightweight and doesn't take up much room.

Brilliant piece of kit. Compact, well designed and easy to use. 1200w is ideal for fishing 🎣
