Good quality product
We have been using this shower caddy for over a month & it has proved to be very good. The suction cups keep it securely in place & we fitted rubber pads (the type used to cushion cupboard doors & drawers) to stop it scraping on the shower screen frame. The upper basket holds three bottles of shampoo, the hooks are good for face flannels & a plastic soap dish (B&Q 98p) fits nicely into the lower basket to keep the wire frame clean. The product has a quality feel & there are no signs of rust so far.

Useless
I bought some suction based things for showers and soap trays. On every unit I have bought, there is always at least one deformed suction cup that doesn't work, which makes the whole thing useless. Is it doesn't stay up, why buy it?They should include at least two spare suction cups for each unit. One deformed cup = the complete thing is garbage.

No rust yet- good quality product
Like most people buying a shower caddy, my main concerns with this were rust and whether it would fit all my shower products. I'm happy to report that I purchased this about 4-6 weeks ago and there is no rust yet - quite impressive given our bathroom has terrible ventilation and is hard to air out. The caddy hangs easily over the shower wall and has suction pads to secure so it doesn't move around when you are taking things out of it. There is enough space on the top and bottom shelves for quite a few products of varying shapes and sizes. My only criticism is that the top shelf's side is a little low for big bottles of shampoo so if they tip over there is nothing to catch them, but this is a minor complaint. Overall very happy, exactly as advertised and I would recommend it - better to spend the extra money now on stainless steel rather than continually buy cheaper products that quickly rust.

Acceptable quality, - not great.
Description in this listing AND on labelling clearly states product is made of stainless steel (no mention of chrome on labelling), but it is clear that whatever metal material has been used, the product HAS been given a chrome coating, which appears to be NOT of the best quality. Basket does seem a bit flimsy, but will no doubt do the job. Can't yet comment on whether it will rust of not, as it's still new, so too early to tell. Would I buy it again? No, I'd probably fork out for a better quality product made of chrome-plated brass. The fact that it's made in China is (to me) largely irrelevant, as an enormous number of products are manufactured there, 'in accordance with the specification given', and the vast majority are of good quality. If this product is made of mild steel (rather than stainless) as one reviewer suggests, then it will rust, but just to clarify - Stainless Steel will ALSO rust, given the right conditions. Stainless Steel is made from steel with a minimum of 10.5% chromium added to it (by mass). Whilst Stainless Steel won't corrode too easily, or rust the way ordinary steel does, if it's in a constantly wet & damp area, it will rust, in the same way that even good quality stainless steel cutlery will show specks of rust if left in water for days. I'd say it was way over-priced, and should retail for around £6 - £7, and not £14.69 I paid. I note that the product is listed at a price of 11 Euros on Amazon France, & 12 Euros on Amazon Germany, both with Free Delivery. Is this another example of rip-off Britain?

Lasts well
I bought one of these many years ago and it lasted so well , with a little cleaning now & again, that when eventually it became worn I have replaced it with another of the same model. Worthwhile purchase.

Stainless Steel Shower Caddy
A very neat unit, although expensive it is well made and only time will tell if it was a good buy. it fits neatly over the shower side, i like the two small suction caps that secure it to the glass panel. the storage area is small but adequate, as i tend to put things away after use it is not a problem.

Stainless Steel Corner Basket
I want to avoid rust in the bathroom, so I chose 2 of these "Stainless Steel" items.I like the design of these baskets, and they resisted rust longer than the so-called Stainless Steel shower caddy that I bought at the same. However, these showed signs of rust after only 4 months use.My impression is that these are made of mild steel, but they have better chrome plating than the caddy, therefore they have resisted rust longer. As I was expecting stainless steel, and thereby totally avoid rust, I am disappointed (to put it mildly!)

Here is how to put it up WITHOUT suction cups and without ruining your walls! it WORKS!
I bought 2 of these for my showers. They seemed nice, sturdy, not ugly plastic. BUT those suction cups would NOT stay on for me. I didn't want to screw into the wall, that's why I chose suction to begin with! I heated them and spit on them and tried everything I could think of. Nada. I relegated my baskets to a linen closet to hold things. Then I thought I could try something else because I NEEDED a shower basket. I tried three different ways of using command strips and THIS was the one that worked. It holds AND the hooks don't snap.HOW TO DO IT:You will need- Corner shower basket- 6 Command Mini Hooks. I used the clear ones. I am not sure if they come in any other color.- 3 Command Medium Water-Resistant Replacement Strips (which you will cut in half.- pen or marker1. Take OFF the suction cups that come with the basket. There is a little ledge that needs to be pushed through. I threw my suction cups away (they didn't work anyway!)2. Determine where you want your basket and hold it there to make sure it is right. There are two rectangular holes on each side of the basket (where you pulled the suction cups from.) I made sure that rectangular hole wasn't over any grout lines. If you can't avoid them, try to make the outer two rectangles NOT on grout. I couldn't avoid a line, but it worked anyway. Make sure it is level and square (I just eyed it.) I cleaned my wall then with alcohol according to the Command Adhesive directions.3. Hold your basket steady with one hand, and with the other, carefully trace the inside of that rectangular hole. I used a regular old fine sharpie, but you could use something water soluble if you wanted. The strips sort of cover that area anyway, so I didn't care.4. Put your basket down. I didn't want big hunks of adhesive strip showing, so I cut mine in half cross-wise (not length-wise.) Plus, I only had 3 strips leftover from another project, so I wanted to make them work!! ha ha!! I then put a half strip onto each hook. I also cut off that "pull" tab part, there is enough sticking out that I can get a hold of it to release the strip when I need to. There is a sticky side that says "wall side"...leave that side for the wall! If you look at my picture above, you can see I put TWO hooks on the outer hole and only one in the middle. I did this because it was too hard to get the hooks THAT perfectly in the squares and they wouldn't fit if you were off. These hold (as I have tested over a year!) so it wasn't necessary to get 2 per hole anyway.5. Try to line up the top of your strip to the line you drew. Now, (you can see from my picture,) you will see the top of the command strip and the hook under that. I just took off the "wall side" backing, alined the top of the strip with the mark I made and pressed it on. If you do that, your basket is going to be about 3/4 of an inch LOWER than where you marked it because the actual hook part that holds it is lower. So if you have a reason you need it at an exact height, move your basket up before you trace.6. You have to make sure the double hook is tight together or the hooks won't fit. I did try one hook per hole, but when the basket was full (really full), the hooks just broke. The double one hasn't broken in more than a year. Just center the lower hooks in your mark (the ones nearer the back corner of the basket.)7. The command adhesive directions say to let it sit to cure. I did this overnight.8. Then just slide your basket into the hooks. Don't try to go around the wire (I tried that method too and broke a bunch of hooks.) Just let the basket slide down inside the hook and sit in there. If you messed up, the adhesive is removable and you can just redo it.That's it. I really did try 3 different ways that DIDN'T work, this way did. I put full heavy bottles of stuff in mine, and it has held. And you can lift it right off to clean behind it if you want. I don't think those plastic hooks are strong enough to hold if you lean on it or use it as a hand rail...so don't do that (you will fall!)I have been VERY happy with the way it looks. It doesn't stick out as far as the suction cups (which is good) and there isn't some big ugly suction cup to get dirty. I hope my directions made sense. It is pretty easy!!!!!

Attenti all'altezza del box doccia!
