Great Budget Monitor for HDR
Seeking for a computer monitor capable of HDR was my search and I came to this monitor for my decision.HDR1000 truly gives a brilliant color range, and is great at imitating a bright or dark environment, 1440p is a good resolution for 27-inches, and 144hz is just what I need.HDR streaming is also great given you have capable endpoints (computers, streaming devices, etc.). Movies and TV shows look great on this monitor.Tip for the customer: For the best true black, be sure to enable the ‘Local Dimming’ feature on your monitor’s settings when playing HDR content

VA panel ruins it
I regret this purchase overall. I didn't know how bad VA panels were. The color, great. Brightness, very bright. Blacks, jet black. Everything else about the monitor is super good. I can even track very well in games. However, the VA panel just kills it all. When watching movies, I sometimes find it hard to look at the monitor because it's almost like there's a reflection. When viewed even from a slight angle, the VA monitor starts to lose quality and has almost like a hologram effect. This causes a light reflecting off the screen effect when watching movies. It's very distracting and a complete waste of mini Led tech and the cost of this monitor. If I knew VA panels were this bad, I wouldn't have purchased this model. In my opinion, the mini-led tech is completely wasted due to the VA panel... When I look at the edges of the monitor where the black line is, the hologram effect is very bad. It blurs out details on the edge of the monitor.I would avoid this monitor unless you don't mind this issue. The angle where it starts blurring/hologram is around 25 - 30 degrees. Such a small angle and it gets bad. It would have been 1 star if not for the mini led tech itself being super good.

Great after flashing usb update
Prior to updating the software the hdr looked bad, the picture settings were locked down pretty much completely and it was stuck in 144hzafter updating the monitor the hdr and local dimming were adjustable and i find it looks the best on auto especially when playing games as the shadows when moving have a ghost effect on standard and high. watching hdr content on youtube looks very nice and the contrast is sooo noticeable! there’s a little bit of blooming around highlights of some scenes if u watch oled content but it’s not distracting at all and adds a little shimmery effect on bright things. the picture settings in hdr are still completely locked down and you can’t turn the brightness down either. i’ve pretty much kept it in sdrmode as the local dimming is still usable, i would only use hdr during the day or in a bright room because it gets super bright! 165hz is also not an option in hdr either so you have to play at 144hz unless you switch to hdr mode. another thing i noticed that some other reviews mentioned were the kvm switches not really being usable. the usb c port wont display from my laptop but i can use my mouse that was plugged in and my pc that runs through display port doesn’t recognize the mouse. The kvm switches and not being able to use 165hz and turn the brightness down in hdr mode is the biggest con in my opinion. I wonder if there’s some way i could know if they do another update to fix that, at least being able to adjust the brightness in hdr might make me turn it on for good. Other than that the picture quality is beautiful and the contrast is next level. if your not used to mini led or oled this is a game changer and it’s exactly what your looking for in a high end display at a budget price.

Medicore monitor for a premium fee
At first, the monitor looks decent. You'll need to do some hefty changes to the settings to get everything set up right, on top of updating the firmware. Then, you start using the monitor. When moving windows the colors get way out of whack, until the window is stationary again. When changing inputs, more often than not there is a crazy purple hue applied to the entire screen. The only solution I found was to turn it off and on again, sometimes having to do this more than once.I ultimately had to return it, because I don't want to have to constantly be fighting my monitor or adjusting settings for it to display properly. For the price, I'd rather save a little more and get an OLED that doesn't have these shortcomings.

Been using this for over 4 months now
I’ve done a late review to give my best thoughts on the monitor. This monitor has been a great experience for me both as a gamer and a game developer. It’s HDR has give me amazing brightness in scenes and the mini-led tech they use helps bring out amazing contrast for an even better color experience. The downsides are some minor glitches with waking the monitor, I have to unplug the monitor and replug it quite often which is a pain but one I can deal with.I should note that this is with the firmware that they provide on their site not the stock firmware.Overall it’s done everything I’ve needed/wanted and I’ve been graced with a monitor that doesn’t have any dead pixels or weird issues thankfully so overall it’s a great monitor if you can get it on sale/with a coupon.
