Although, I am not affiliated with a sorority, one of my closest friends is an AKA. I was so nervous that she had one already, but she did not and love it.

Okay, so for my secret Santa I got my boss's name. She is an AKA, she loves pink and green. She wanted a coffee mug. This fit the bill plus the fact that the quote on it from kamala harris set it all off!

When I took the cup out I was like OMG- this cup is huge!! And I loved it- the color, design, the words, the material that constructs the cup. And that there is a top you can attach (you don't have to if you don't want to)- our bedroom has been stuffy with things lately and in getting around them I have knocked a couple glasses off my nightstand- especially when carrying something. While I have to be careful not to break the top, while it is sturdy it is still plastic and might not take a few good falls well- I like knowing if I were to knock this coffee cup over it won't break- I have done it to one of two the last couple weeks.Check out my photos. I got a general-sized coffee cup out of my cabinet- it is the yellow one (I didn't want to use one with a logo or photo). But- the cup is what we generally think of as the standard, coffee cup size. Not bigger or smaller but the norm- and I am referring to the yellow coffee cup you can see in my photos next to the Kamala Harris cup- which dwarfs the normal-sized one (the yellow cup). I really didn't expect the cup to be that much larger and it was a great surprise to find it was.This coffee cup keeps my hot drinks at a great temperature for a good amount of time, at least longer than the normal cups. And when I put cold drinks in it- keeps them cold for a long amount of time too. I am sure it is helped by the metal inside- so this cup is not going in the microwave- ever! The reason I keep cold drinks in it too- is because it is big enough.The metal inside makes it much easier to clean than a standard ceramic mug. Whenever I use honey in my tea, it can sometimes harden at the bottom if not washed until the next day. With the Kamala Harris mug, it is easier to get off- warms up quicker and easier to clean.While I am no sorority girl- I am a lover of good quotes, great, fine people (who deserve to be listened to and remembered), and a great coffee mug. I found it here, with the Kamala Harris quote, pink mug. You don't have to be in a sorority to want this mug- I'm not and never was. You don't even have to be a girl....I think this is a great gift for anyone- Because I think that if more people were united, sincerely, and honestly, to seek and find the truth in all, for the better of everyone- we would find more and have more strength. I love it that Sorority girls are told to hold this ideal but wouldn't it be great if the rest of the world did too?Hey- a single step can be taken even if you are just buying a mug that says something you believe to be true on it- you never know who might see those words and what they can do. When something makes the world a better place- it is always good to have it be seen- even if it is just by you.
