All the numbers you input in the calculator are numbered so that you don't lose your place!
I like this calculator because all the numbers I input are numbered, and I don't lose my place and have to start all over again. I've been working on my taxes, and I have to add long columns of numbers. I find that when adding long columns of numbers, I'll sometimes lose my place and wonder whether I've inputted that number or not. The Monroe calculator automatically numbers those numbers I inputted and I don't lose my place. What I also do is that I take a red pen and go down the column of numbers that need to be added and individually number the number. For example, if I had to add 245.46 + 34567.50 + 405.30 + 750.21 + 1245.65 + 143.67 + 199.00, I'd take my red pen and put a little 1 in front of 245.46, a 2 in front of 34567.50, a 3 in front of 405.30, and so on. In this way, my numbers and the Monroe calculator's numbers should match. If they don't, then I know that I missed a number. I've had other hand-held calculators and they don't do this. This is why I like the Monroe, and it's my go to for taxes.

Cheap and Crappy
No info whatsoever on what batteries to use or where the batteries go! The screen was very loose and didn't stay up after a few days and then completely came apart from the calculator. This was a waste of money.

It's nice, but could be better.
I like the features of this calculator that allow you to scroll back and forth to find your screwups. But what I don't like is whoever designed the layout of the keyboard decided to put the "0" key on the left of the keypad where stuff like "clear" "sq root" "GT" and so forth are normally found. They could have just as easily put the "=" key at that location, or the decimal point key and let the poor little "0" key be with it's brothers and sisters 1 through 9 and double-zero. Then at least it would be possible to use the calculator in a more standard format. But I'll keep it because it does do a nice job other than that one inconvenience. If it does get to be to big a pain in the neck for me, there's a nice creek in back of my house that will hold it just fine.So 4 stars because it's very possible many of us will enter columns of numbers that do not contain any single occurrence of zero.

Great calculator for the price...
I got it particularly for the ability to review all the numbers you put in...like a paper calculator but without the paper. Also you can change incorrect inputs while reviewing.
