100% Pure Hammered Copper Travel Water Bottle - Ayurvedic Health Benefits

Just wanted a copper drinks bottle to sit in the kitchen with my water in so I can drink during the day to alleviate my arthritis. Single skin bottle so water remains very close to room temperature ( you can by double skinned like a thermos but that’s not what I wanted) well packaged and in perfect hammered condition. Prompt delivery too

After reading a few reviews which mention leaking I was a bit dubious. However, the first thing I checked was the seal and both seals (I bought two flasks) were intact, the screw tops seated nicely and screwed down well. I filled both with water and left them upside down to make sure there were no leaks. . . Absolutely no leaks. I’m pleased with them, we already have a copper jug and beakers so I know how cold it keeps water. I’m thinking they will be well received at Christmas.

Nice, attractive bright copper bottle. Make sure it’s screwed tight and it’s fine. Pleasant to drink from and nice enough to serve at the dinner table.

Beautiful but dropped on a carpeted floor and it dented! So beware - handle with care! Leak proof. No funny taste. Keeps water cool. Happy to recommend this product.

Unsure about the advertised purity of the material. Paint chips away inside and could be ingested.

Really pleased with this item, use it all the time. It is a bit tricky sometimes to screw the cap on properly so that it doesn’t leak, you have to pay attention and leaks sometimes do happen. But I think overall it’s excellent value for money compared with other pure copper bottles. Can taste a little copper but not unpleasant at all. I am happy with this item.

I bought this partly because I have read elsewhere that storing water in copper will increase the water's alkalinity and partly because I was curious. This specific product's seller does not claim that it increases the alkalinity of water but they do make reference to ayurvedic health, which promotes the use of alkaline water. Other companies do claim outright that storing water in copper increases the water's alkalinity and many of them are selling an item that looks very much like this. So to the point. I tested a well known brand of natural mineral water straight out of the plastic bottle, and measured a ph value of 6.88. I then measured water taken from the same plastic bottle that had been stored in this copper bottle for one hour, and I measured a ph value of 6.88. So, if you are looking at this as a shortcut to creating alkaline water, it's probably not going to help you. However it is a nice bottle to store water in, so I give it 3 stars.
