Not too soft, not too stiff. I like a good scrub in the shower, and this brush is perfect. It lives in the shower and stands up well to that climate.

Great shower brush. Soft as advertised, but the handle is difficult to hold onto with water provided by a whole house water filtration system. It may be better in a home without this system and that has hard water.

A large percentage of he wood started turning gray (like an old fence) after a few months. Works fine for me but my wife is turned off by the appearance. She views it as "unsanitary". She purchased a plastic brush and is quite happy with that one.
