You want this cooler.
Yes, you want this liquid cooler; the extra money you drop on this is incredibly worth the temps you can pull off while under load. Installation is straightforward, but make sure you know EXACTLY how much space you have, as it was a close fit with my rig; this thing is big. If you max your fans, it can be loud, but not enough to be bothersome in my experience.

Pretty satisfied !
love the cooler I have absolutely no issues other than i accidentally ordered the regular kraken aio cooler rather than the Kraken Elite aio cooler. which gives you a different display on this one your only able to put gifs/images on a square inside the screen rather than the entire screen. but i’m still happy and it does what it needs to do!

On fans? Upgrade to this
Love it, been working for months now and no issue. I don't hear any more high fan noise and it doesn't shut off for being too hot. It fixed my overheated issue. Super easy to set up.

Awesome AIO cooler.
I needed a aio cooler for my amd gaming pc build. This cooler bolted up with no issues and looks awesome. Keeps my pc cool. The fans are extremely quiet. And I love how you can change the display to either pictures, videos, music, or just show the temperatures or the cpu and GPU. 10 out of 10.

Solid Cooler with a Splash of RGB Fun
I recently picked up the NZXT Kraken 120 for my gaming rig, and I’ve gotta say, it’s been a pretty solid experience overall. First off, the installation was a breeze. I’m no tech wizard, but I managed to get it set up in about 30 minutes. The instructions were clear, and the mounting brackets fit my CPU socket perfectly. One of the best things about this cooler is how quiet it is. I’ve had other coolers that sound like a jet engine when they ramp up, but the Kraken stays nice and silent even under load. It’s great for those late-night gaming sessions when you don’t want to wake the whole house. Now, let’s talk about the RGB lights. They’re vibrant and customizable, which is a nice touch if you’re into that kind of thing. You can sync them with other NZXT products, which is cool if you want a coordinated look. However, I did find the software a bit clunky at times, and it took some trial and error to get everything just right. On the downside, the 120mm radiator might not be enough for super high-performance CPUs if you’re planning on overclocking. It keeps my Ryzen 5 cool enough for casual gaming, but I wouldn’t push it too hard.Overall, I’d give the NZXT Kraken 120 a solid 4 stars. It’s quiet, looks great, and does the job for most users. Just keep in mind the radiator size if you’re looking for something more heavy-duty. Happy cooling!

Love it and it works great.
Looked at other coolers first and almost bought another brand. Saw this as an alternate, read the reviews and looked at the videos, and decided to by it. Very easy to install and the software makes it easy to monitor coolant, temps, even add pics!

Definitely recommend!
I upgraded from a deepcool aio to the kraken and I am so happy with it! It’s much quieter and higher quality. It keeps my cpu cool when I play cpu intensive games. I do wish the picture took up the whole screen but I’m not disappointed with it and I didn’t want to spend the extra money just for that. Overall great purchase and would recommend!

Solid Cooling; Poor Mounting Hardware; Needs Alternate NZXT CAM Default
Once this arrived and I looked at the AMD mount, I thought it was a great idea to simplify mounting compared to a variety of prior AMD and Intel mounts I've installed over the years on custom builds. However, I quickly discovered that the AMD mount that came with it had two poorly manufactured standoffs and thumbnuts, resulting in a unstable installation that almost damaged the motherboard in the installation process. It was so bad that it wouldn't screw down correctly no matter what I tried; and would go flying off whenever I tried to tighten it. I searched Amazon for alternate standoffs and thumbnuts, and found the following: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C8HZ3Z4B After spending another $13 and waiting a couple of days on shipping, I found the new ones that arrived fit perfectly and safely and effectively worked to install the liquid cooling unit to the motherboard. NZXT should consider contracting with an alternate company for their mounting hardware and save their customers this hassle. Outside of the supplied AMD mount hardware issues, the liquid cooling unit has worked great in a high end build -- but only once I installed the NZXT CAM software, and change the fan speed from Silent to Performance (my son experienced some game crashes with CPU errors prior to that). Just want to share these fixes with the community to save you from also having to waste time should you encounter the same challenges. I hope this review helps others purchasing this product; and hopefully NZXT support will also eventually read this and if we're lucky, ensure this doesn't happen into the future by getting a more reliable supplier for their mounting hardware; and also setting Performance as the default on installations. The average user installing a liquid cooler is likely going to be installing it for high performance use; not for using productivity software like MS Office -- so it just makes sense to make it gamer ready as the default.Otherwise, aside from an occasional animated gif freeze up on the LCD screen, it's been a solid product after overcoming these two challenges, and I would recommend it to others (however, you may want to also order an alternate mounting hardware kit at the same time when you order this product to ensure you don't have to wait multiple days -- as if something else goes wrong with your build, a few days difference by the time everything in the build arrives could mean something defective with your build is no longer returnable -- costing you a lot of money.
