Bossy instructor - love her!
I love this dvd and workout. Sarah is quite bossy but I like that style, I find her very motivational. Love the moves, they’re tough but supplement my regular weightlifting and running for something that challenges my body in a different way. Not for a beginner, I have experience in Pilates so I knew the form needed and was able to pick up in the quick ques that a beginner would possibly miss

Should be called Toned in 30 not 10
If you are going to do this DVD 'properly' then you should always complete the 10 min warm up, the 10 min cool down PLUS your 10 min choice of workout in between therefore if you want to get toned, you really have to commit at least 30 mins rather than the title suggests of only 10 mins. I haven't been a massive fan of her other DVDs - always found Davina a bit OTT and irritating so I was quite glad when she announced she wouldn't actually be taking the class, just a participant in the background. However, the main lady lacks so little warmth/personality that I found myself wanting Davina to come up with some of her annoying quips just to break the monotony. The music during the warm up is really good and motivating however after that it really goes down hill. It's very bland and boring and doesn't really inspire you to really go for it. It's like they lost their license to play well-known tunes. The sections are incredibly challenging but quite interesting. I am going skiing soon so I'm using it mainly for leg strength and I can really feel the burn. You will need a pilates ball and a set of weights to really get the most of these workouts.

This is a 30 minute workout minimum due to warm up and cool down!
This is a 30 minute workout minimum due to warm up and cool down! The warm up and cool down are much too long and will be very repetitive after just one week. The cool down doesn't give me a great stretch and it's nearly 12 minutes long. I have a baby and was expecting 20 minute sessions with a quick warm up in each and short stretch at the end with a nice option of stretching separately like some previous DVDs. I am used to barre exercise and can do them without a chair but for those who can't space could be an issue and even with the stretching I struggled for space. The sections are fantastic but I can only do one each day with the warm up and cool down as this totals nearly 32 minutes. Very disappointed however will keep it varied for me providing I don't get fed up with the warm up and cool down. I may need to do my own so I can do more sessions each day! The glutes workout is so boring, nothing new here all on the knees and so repetitive. The barre exercises standing up are great for the glutes. I bought the dvd for glutes and find it so frustrating that it's all been done before so uninventive! Weights are only used on the arms workout and for a toning dvd that's simply not good enough! No options for modifications if you can't touch the floor and no progression options. Not what I was expecting.

Fantastic
I’ve always done the Davina dvds (although I wasn’t a fan of the Ed ones) and really enjoyed them. After 5 months of doing no exercise and drinking too much wine, snacking on crisps and scoffing my daughter’s leftovers, I decided action needed to be taken before I covered the mirrors. I bought this dvd, an exercise ball and 1kg weights and kicked wine o clock and snacking to the curb. My body has changed already and I am only 3 weeks in. These exercises are hard, especially the stomach ones, but I know with time I will get stronger and find it easier. I love everything about this dvd...it is really uplifting, challenging, has a good soundtrack and Sarah the instructor is really inspiring. I have already lost that square shape to my stomach and it is now much flatter. It’s all going in the right direction and I look forward to doing it all year and hope they do another one together for January 2019. Update June 2018-I did this dvd 5 days a week, doing the warm up, 2 sections and the abs every time and in 3 months I have lost 2 stone. Of course I have been eating well and not scoffing, but this dvd has got me into shape. I now do it 3 times a week and allow wine at weekends (you have to stay sane right?) and my weight has stabilised. I attach before and after for inspiration! This dvd is the best exercise dvd I’ve ever had, and I’ve been doing them since the early nineties, so have seen them all ha ha!

... minute sessions in addition to the warm up and cool down. From the start to end of the ...
Received this today and have so far completed two of the 10 minute sessions in addition to the warm up and cool down. From the start to end of the 10 minutes you are worked hard with the exercises, but boy are these effective! I suspect tomorrow I’ll be feeling the aftermath. What’s great is the acknowledge that the level of fitness to complete the work out as described is progressive for those not accustomed to this type of workout. I run mostly and wanted something that would change my body shape, i’m Confident with time and precision this will happen the more I perfect the work outs on this DVDs. I’m if you’re serious about working out, this is a good DVD to work from!

Excellent workouts
I'm a fit person and work out 6 days a week. I was looking for something less strenuous than my usual kettlebell and HIIT workouts. I chose this one because I think Davina is fun and authentic, I'd also heard that the trainer was excellent. I'm super impressed! I've been doing 20/30 mins 4 times a week and it's fabulous, it's superbly executed and the trainer and Davina make it fun and a 'laugh'. I've already noticed a difference in my abs and glutes. I don't bother with the warm up as I tend to get bored so I row or use the treadmill for 10 mins before. Overall I'm really pleased I bought the DVD and look forward to do more workouts and seeing the changes in my shape.
