I had a dream what would my ideal watch for less than 20 pounds look like?1/ Lightweight. YES. Not the thinnest but close2/ Two sizes available, small and normal. YES3/ Highly visible in dim light with poor vision. YES. I chose the white hands/black background model. There is also a thick hands model for black hands/white background. I am not sure which one is best. With other watches I cannot distinguish between the hour hand and the minute hand. It is obvious with these thick hands.4/ Hands that glow in the dark. These seem to be hard to find nowadays. NO5/ User replaceable battery. I do not know.6/ User replaceable watch strap. YES. The supplied leather strap is comfortable, and standard design, unlike some watches where you have to buy branded spares7/ Easily replaceable strap design. Probably. It does have the tiny holes in the frame so you can push out the pin.8/ Smooth: does not catch the sleeves of my clothing. YES. Pretty good.9/ Colour. YES, this watch comes in a range of colours, though the thick hands does limit you.10/ Big numbers. YES.11/ Hour hand is significantly shorter than the minute hand. YES. I say this because on another watch, in dim light, I cannot tell the difference between the two hands.12/ Scratch resistant screen. Highly desirable. I do not know.13/ Smash resistant screen. Highly desirable. I do not know.Bonus: water resistant. I expect this to be a premium item. The reviewed watch has only the minimum, so you cannot wear it in the shower or do washing up. But, frankly, who would want to? I paid less than eight pounds for my watch and accept the features/price trade-off. This is the best features/price watch I can find, and just hope the battery lasts at least a year.

Bought for elderly relative with fading eyesight. Nice bold face and hour/minute hands make it easy for her to read. She likes that it's ladylike in size not a huge chunk around her wrist.

Had this watch a while now - it's kept perfect time - easy to read and although the strap is plastic it looks good and doesn't make your skin smell like other plastic straps. Would definitely buy it again.

I had to return mine (free with Prime) - it was slightly defective - the minute hand was very slightly loose and wiggled around a little while wearing it.Otherwise I would have liked it.I’m a bit surprised at some comments on here about the watch or strap looking ‘cheap’ - then perhaps don’t buy a £7.50 watch?It looks totally fine for what it’s supposed to be - a basic, simple watch to do a specific job: give you a super-clear view of the time. And that’s it!Strap is not short on the 36mm version - will fit up to about 21cm wrist circumference. I’ve got a big fat wrist (for a woman) and it was amply big enough. Obviously the strap won’t last forever but I reckon perhaps a few months to a year. It’s easy to change it yourself, just Google how to change a watch strap.

Lovely big clear face fits fine. Recommend for the price

Battery lasted 2 weeks, so I threw the watch in the bin. I should have known not to buy cheap rubbish
