Beautiful design and high quality build and excellent function as a true daylight quality lamp.

Not sure what the Honeywell vintage-tech brand name has to do with anything (it's apparently just licenced by the Chinese manufacturer) but this is a very nice and high-end desk lamp, although it's a stretch at the current full retail price. It's impeccably made with every component being nicely machined and finished and it emerges from the box fully assembled and ready to use. The base is very heavy compared to the rest of the light and obviously has been weighted to keep it stable. The arms are made from aluminium and have a channel formed in the outer face to take the black braided power cable, so it's only visible at the joints. There's a connector in the power cable near the lamp (which the mains adaptor plugs into) which could look a bit untidy if it's sitting on your desk, which is a bit strange given how precisely and minimally designed the rest of the lamp is. The light head itself is a sealed unit with a diffuser that softens the light and a cool-looking orange rim, just visible around the rim, which glows when the light is on and makes a nice counterpoint to the matte grey of the rest of the lamp. There's a single button on the light head which switches it on/off when tapped and adjusts the brightness up/down when touched and held. Note the light only emits one colour of white light, you can't change the tone, and that's set as 4000K which is inbetween a 'daylight white' and 'warm white' and something similar to mid morning or afternoon sunlight. There's a good range of brightness available and it remembers your previous setting next time you turn it on. Overall it's a beautifully designed and very well made desk lamp and my only reservation is the (full retail) price which is more what I'd expect if it came with an established Italian designer lighting brand, that said the quality here is in the same league, so you pays your money and makes your choice...

This desk lamp works well. It is reasonably flexible and is stable. Not particularly dimmable but the sensitive on/off touch button works well

This lamp from Honeywell comes in a well presented box and once unboxed you are presented with a very well made and stylish lamp that will complement any room you decide to use it in. I'm currently using it on my office desk and if I'm working late in the evening it provides ample lighting for me to work without turning on the main light. The lamp has quite a weight to it which helps to make it extremely sturdy, and the materials used are of a high quality. It has 3 joints and can also turn about the base and the head can also be moved in any direction making this extremely versatile. The light itself can be operated via a touch sensitive button on top of the light head and allows you to select several different levels of brightness, the last of which you use is remembered for the next time you turn it on. I also like how the plug and lead can be detached at the base which has made it easier for me to route the cable through the cable management in my desk. The only drawback with this lamp I feel is the price which was £215.99 at the time of review. Now the look and feel of this lamp and the materials used are truly outstanding and it oozes a quality which you will constantly admire, so whilst it does justify an asking price of this magnitude, it's a definite "want" item rather than a "need" item but you can rest assured that you literally have a lamp for life as this should last you years and always look good. Apart from the cost I can't rate this highly enough and I definitely recommend it.

This industrial designer Honeywell eye protection desktop lamp feels premium quality and is defects free.Made of premium aluminium metals and other high grade components makes this light source worth every penny asking! This desk on lamp delivers full spectrum LED 4000K witch should be very close to natural light really and keep your vision and eyes comfortable during studying or working activities ..What is also worth mentioning this light is flicker free and there is no blue light effect there too.Anyway , ergonomics and functionality deserve solid 5/5 award since it's very easy to adjust ,operate and use this lamp with one simple touch of a sensor button not to mention about built-in intelligent memory function which remembers the last used brightness mode for end user added value convenience and personal light output preferences. As some of us could have heard about Honeywell company previously already or had a pleasure to use any of their products knows well that Honeywell as always put their continuous efforts in improving products functionality same as the quality increased life span where here now we can enjoy ourselves with the facts of the led lights being designed to last more than 30000+ hours, which in translation would guarantee you virtually no need for any LEDs replacement in the next 25 years which ,again ,will definitely deliver worry-free service and premium customer service using Honeywell product line.Great quality manufacturing!Great product.I would definitely buy it and I am happy to recommend it!

Lampe ist ohne viel schnick schnack, nur ein Knopf zum einschalten und zum dimmen, deshalb für den täglichen Gebrauch sehr gut geeignet

I love the simple design, superb light quality, the height (taller than my raised laptop screen), the adjustability, and the solid, tight build. The fit & finish of mine is flawless. The 4000K white light, with no blue and no glare, is softened by the orange diffuser ring. 500 lumens is good for general work, and for close up detail work you can lower the head. The touch control on the head is simple – tap on/off & long hold to dim/brighten – takes about 5 seconds to go to/from 10-100%. To reverse direction, release the hold, then hold again. It has a brightness memory, not held if it loses power. There’s a white label on the rear edge of the base that contains the model & S/N (which are not marked as such), so if you remove it you may first want to take a photo of it. Update: I’ve been using this daily for a few months and decided to raise my rating from 4 to 5 stars. I originally thought the highest setting should be brighter (why initially 4 stars), but actually it’s been bright enough for everything I do. The color temperature is just right, and I really appreciate the high 95 CRI (color rendering accuracy).

La lampe est de très bonne qualité tant au niveau de l'éclairage que de sa qualité de fabrication. Le rapport qualité prix est très bon surtout si vous utilisez cette lampe quotidiennement et de manière intensive. Un bel outil de productivité.
