For an older vehicle with no built in USB sockets, this provides a good compact solution
Having recently changed phone charging cables to ones with a USB C connection, was looking for a car charger to suit, along with the traditional USB A connection, to suit all our families devices. This compact little unit appears well constructed, offering the electronic fail safes that you would want. Having the two USB C ports as well as two USB A allows for more devices as they become necessary in the car, with USB C becoming more common as a connection. Plugged into the car lighter socket, nice tight fit and the blue surround light comes on with the ignition. Plugged my normal cable in and then the phone – the phone screen flashed up ‘fast charging’ so that appears to be as claimed, in our set up ‘fast charging’ only came up on the upper PD1 socket, the lower PD2 only comes up ‘charging’. Probably the way it distributes between the ports, as the lower USB A port has the DAB radio plugged in, it does say with more than one device plugged they share 12v 2.5a, not an issue for us as don’t use a car charger specifically for fast charging! Something to bear in mind if you want fast charging from all ports at the same time. The sockets themselves are a good tight fit, so no issue with cables coming disengaged. The power information is possibly confusing – the headline advert states 70w car charger while the detail text states 35w multi port charger. The body of the device states 70w max so assume that is the correct information. It will get regular use powering our Pure Highway DAB adapter, with additional ports available for other devices as required – powering the Sat Nav, charging phones on longer journeys. For an older vehicle with no built in USB sockets, this provides a good compact solution, with enough sockets to share between all users!

Great for use in the dark!
So firstly can I say that I love the fact this lights up so much. When you plug it in, all four ports light up as well as the perimeter of the unit. It's not enough to distract, but it makes it really easy to see for connecting/disconnecting AND makes it easy to tell if the charger becomes dislodged - on my old charger there was a small red LED that you had to look for. This is a big improvement for me! The USB-C ports do allow fast charging of my Huawei phone, but not when the other ports are in use at the same time. tbh I expected this - the cigarette lighter only has so much juice to share. But the ability to connect 4 items at once, while not something I'll need everyday, it's a useful thing to have.

Powerful 70w Car Charger - big improvement in speed of in car charging
This 70W Car Charger/Adapter is small and powerful. It has 2 USB A Fast Charing ports (PD35W) and 2 C Ports (QC3.0) As expected, it fits into the 12V USB Socket Cigarette Lighter. This unit can use all 4 ports simultaneously and brings my car's charging speeds right up to date with fast charging which although is not as fast as when using direct current is still a huge improvement on my older in car charger, It has an LED light which is bright enough to see to plug devices into in a dark car whilst not being too bright to affect driving. I very much like that the charger identifies which device has been plugged in and distributes the right level of power. I am pleased with this charger and it will get a lot of use in my car.

This thing means business!
I got this as I found my old car charge that I had had for year just was not cutting it anymore. Why did I wait so long to replace it! Take this adapter and pair it with a good quality USB-C to USB-C fast charging cable (not included) and be amazed at how quick if chargers you phone – On my Samsung It takes about 50 minutes to charge 50%. That’s using a USB-C cable in one of the PD ports. The plug also lights up blue and illuminate the PD1 and PD2 USB-C ports helping you find them easier in the dark. I light is bright but did not cause me any issues at night as it is located down by my hand brake. Really fast charger!

4 phones in the car, 1 charging port? Problem solved
As the driver, my phone takes priority because I used it for navigation. This leads to inevitable arguments with Partner and kids, no more. At last we can go on a road trip without social media junkie partner and kids threatening dire consequences if I don't allow them to top up the charge on their phones. It's good quality and reasonably fast with 2 USB A and 2 USB C ports. A must have if you normally travel with passengers or need to charge more than one device.

I think the 70W is “total” ; wouldn’t charge my laptop
The item is probably fine for charging mobile phones, but I had assumed I’d be able to charge my laptop using it. BUT my laptop gave an error (see photo) and reading the spec on the side of the connector and I think perhaps each individual port isn’t able to do it, but in total you could potentially draw 70W. Not a bad item, but didn’t quite do what I was hoping.

Power on the Go, No Fuss
This 70W USB car charger has four ports. I got it for keeping our devices alive on the road and it gets the job done efficiently. I plugged it into the cigarette lighter on our Zafira, and the subtle blue glow was nice. Charging my Huawei was quick, and I'm much happier now I won't be caught out with a flat battery. Good value and worth the price for peace of mind.
