Once you go online to Amazon, just type in “Embroidery Hoops “. A whole list of different shapes and sizes of hoops will display. You can then choose which one you prefer.

Q: Is this with floss or yarn?

This is with floss. I have done several of these butterfly and they are all with floss. In fact all of the needlepoint kits for adult beginners that I have done are with floss. Some have better colors than others but you can buy extra floss on Amazon. I have probably done close to 100 or more of them and have not ordered extra floss. Hope this answers your question.
